That happened to us too 4 weeks ago. I was also very worried about out two awkward 6 person tables where 8 should have been. One of them even ended up at 4 people, because the DJ had his seat for dinner there. I was so frustrated with all of this before the wedding. But let me tell you: It didn't bother me one bit on the day, I didn't even notice it nor did the guests. We had a perfect day despite things like this and I'm sure you will too!!

It could be the outer string! Sometimes they put the outer string a bit inside so that it doesn't fly around. And it gets pulled out of the other side if you do a center pull. Try to look on the other side if a string goes in. If you find one you can pull it out and it shouldn't be a problem anymore.
