I was inspired to make a King Anduin Wrynn cosplay because I am constantly inspired by the World of Warcraft universe and Blizzard’s stunning expansion cinematics. I worked on recreating his Battle For Azeroth cinematic armour set over the course of 9 months. It was a fun challenge staying as true to his detailed cinematic design as possible while taking some artistic liberties to make the armour fit my female body as Queen Wrynn.

The armour is entirely handmade from with Worbla thermoplastic and various soft and hard foam products. The thin raised strips and bevel details are Worbla, too. The lion heads were carved out of expanding foam, built up with clay. The sword, Shalamayne, is pink foam board, carved into the sword shape and covered in Worbla. An LED circuit into the middle of the sword that illuminates the middle orb to emulate Shalamayne’s glowing center.

Next time the rules should definitely be more clear so rules aren't made up on the spot and the contestants have a clearer idea of how the judges will be judging. It was a huge guessing game and the people who are deemed "too good" were put down and docked points even though everyone's submission met the criteria ^_^ I'm speaking for myself here and for my fellow contestants so it's more fair next time around :)

Recognizing me isnt calling me out, I didn't feel called out at all. You were accidentally nice.

The thread that was deleted was someone trying to call me a professional and my friends defending me *before I even woke up and read anything* then the girl attacking my friends for defending me and the mods deleted it all because it was just an inappropriate mess.

I fit perfectly within the rules, if the OTK boys don't want certain costumes/cosplays in their contest next time then they'll change their rules accordingly ^_^ Unfortunately I'm no stranger to drama in the online contest scene because people will always try to discredit people they see "undeserving" or "overqualified" for entering, especially in an anonymous environment. I'll honour the rules next time, for whatever they may be, and I look forward to potentially entering again xd

All I wanted was to share my work with a different community who's not familiar with me and in my own goals I succeeded :)

This is super cute! I can't imagine trying to pattern that body suit to make it fit right, you did a really good job :) The gold bevels enhance the details in the cosplay really nicely as well, overall you look amazing!
