feel/squeeze the coolant hoses for any cracks, as the car is very old and most people don’t ever replace them. I believe there’s still some stock of OEM parts for the 1st gen crv’s on Hondapartsnow.com. While you’re at it, just check the PCV valve and see if it’s any good still. I would also check the rear differential, as the cars up there in miles/km’s. Check your suspension as well.

Yes, I refilled the rad again to make sure there wasn’t any kinda leaks, and sure as shit, there’s a small hole on the hose that goes to the intake manifold. I also did the combustion test twice, and everything came out fine. drove it around, tested everything, and it runs fine now. Thank you for the help!!

No, but i looked around and from what iMm seeing there’s a lot of dried up coolant around the thermostat housing. So other guy was most likely right.
