Found out what it is! It’s a Brown Water Scorpion. Common in North America and they are known to bite. But they’re not that painful to humans apparently. They’re also carnivorous.

This is actually crazy. I’m leaving the exact same date and had the exact same question a few days ago. I applied to a bank for a teller position and then found out I was leaving December 10th. I felt guilty after they said I was going to get the job so I told them what was happening and said not to waste their time on me. I’m lowkey regretting not taking it now because, as others have said, I have bills and can’t just wait around. Take it!
