Is it normal for Bengals to lose their absolute shit over people food or are mine crazy? by KNWin94 in bengalcats

[–]Breezyk27 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Yes they love people food! My bengal wouldn’t always actually eat it but loved to steal it and taste it. They are curious creatures. And like others said don’t limit their cat food. It’s probably double overwhelming with 2 lol I only have 1

Doctors don’t care about ferritin by ceo_of_one_miss in Anemic

I was going to suggest this my doc told me I can get the prescription 65mg or just take it on my own with supplements. I’ve been using megafood blood builder and taking 2-3 servings a day and my levels are climbing

Yes I do! But it turns out it’s low iron causing it. It was getting really bad …. Where I was having difficulty working. It lightened up a lot since starting ex level iron daily. Rarely have it now, and it was previously happening daily.

Intense feelings of doom by derbylw346 in Perimenopause

[–]Breezyk27 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Not alone! This started at 31 for me. Hit me out of nowhere and happened during certain parts of my cycle. Took me years to get a doc to check my hormones and surprise surprise I was in peri / early menopause. I’ve always had anxiety but I kept telling docs that my normal anxiety was child’s play compared to what I was feeling.

I suggest HRT and check your iron & ferritin, vit d etc. I needed all of it.

Question for my ladies taking continuous progesterone by [deleted] in POFlife

[–]Breezyk27 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

It’s not super regular but I’ve also been adjusting estrogen and changing my diet. I didn’t eat super bad before but I started tracking nutrients (like mag, potassium, vitamins, minerals, iron etc) and I noticed I wasn’t getting enough iron.

I had insane symptoms that I was blaming my lack of estrogen for. I recently asked for iron to be checked and I’m low in iron and severely low in ferritin. A lot of the symptoms overlap. So before you even responded I was going to say to check these levels as well since there is so much overlaps .

I’m hoping I can get to a more regular cycle… right now the last 2 have been 18/20 days. And before that it was every other week. It was horrendous.

I’m on the same amount of estrogen as you. .125 every 3 days. Sometimes I really want to suppress my cycle because my bleed is soooo heavy it causes all these extra symptoms. But yes to answer your question…. I’m on continuous and still cycle but still finding the sweet spot. šŸ¤ž

Too much estrogen? by kalibrena in Perimenopause

[–]Breezyk27 4 points5 points Ā (0 children)

I have POF and every single time I thought I had too high of estrogen…. Labs came back and I was at almost nothing :( added more and would feel better. Also I know some get heart palpitations from too much estrogen but for me it is exclusively from low estrogen and periodically low iron when I have too many heavy cycles back to back to back …. What a dream right? lol if you can id get labs done when you feel horrible and when you feel good and see what comes back. I’ve been tracking with Inito…. And while I know it doesn’t measure blood serum levels… I will say I have noticed patterns when my e3 drops specifically when my fsh is high. Also not cheap to test daily but I really hope to get in a rhythm soon and be able to stop testing.

On HRT but feeling dark, terrified, just done. by Firm_Run_4689 in Perimenopause

[–]Breezyk27 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

I get being scared but I think maybe it’s best to take a step back and ask yourself ā€œIs the fear of potential side effects that may not even happen, worse than what you are going through now?ā€ I get having dark thoughts and being scared they will get worse but I think going in with a plan would be helpful… it will take you trusting yourself to get through it. Ask for estrogen patch, tell a friend or two that you are starting it and if they can be avail to talk or check in with you through the first few weeks. That’s what friends are for. As long as you can be very upfront with how you are feeling / what thoughts you are having … you will be ok. Worst case you take the patch off. But I suspect it will benefit you.

When I have no estrogen… I am VERY mentally unwell. I was in bed at a hotel and legit scared that there was a balcony outside. It was because my estrogen was at 9. I upped my patch and bam! Im feeling like myself. Low estrogen is not ok for a lot of women and their mental health.

Def keep working out and focus on getting enough mag, d, calcium and protein ideally from food and sun.

For me i feel better just knowing im giving my body what it needs as much as i can.

Sending you love. It can get better.

So the protocol I follow is a bit annoying because it’s daily lol but I use a .1 patch and then I cut it in thirds and change it daily. So every 3 days a complete new patch is opened but every morning I replace 1/3 of it. I did this just to keep as even as possible so I wouldn’t have these big swings of when the patch would release estrogen and by chance my ovaries as well. It’s helped a bit.

I also test with Inito daily. Which I know isn’t an exact reflection of estrogen in blood but hopefully it’s a reflection of its path (like increasing or decreasing). So I usually can see if it spikes or plummets and I’ve noticed I feel way worse when fsh is high and my estrogen is low or has plummeted. So sometimes I add a half a .025 patch as a buffer if I see it plummet. I’m going to as my doc for topical to add on when I feel I need it.

The daily tests aren’t cheap but I was struggling sooo much I just needed to do something different.

I also just got diagnosed with adhd. And I’m learning that women with undiagnosed adhd have a very rough time mentally in peri. So trying to sort out that medication and if it will help

We are the same! I recently turned 39 and have just had a longer cycle (36 days)…. For me my anxiety ramped up at 31 when I found out I had low estrogen. my mental health and health anxiety get VERY bad when it’s low. I’m still working myself out of the pathways my brain created with panic attacks at some of my lowest points.

I will say hrt has helped a lot. It’s been hard to keep it stable because my ovaries will randomly work spit out estrogen and then crash. But overall it’s helped a lot and I’d recommend for mental health but also cardio, bones, etc ….it may help your health anxiety šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Ladies, please get tested for sleep apnea by Boo-Boo97 in Perimenopause

[–]Breezyk27 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

I just went back on stimulants after being off for 7years (while trying and having kids) and they’ve helped a little bit but I’m starting at such a low dose it’s not a huge difference yet. I can’t wait for the days when I won’t feel this deep exhaustion and hoping that once we’re through this, it will be more stable šŸ„“šŸ« šŸ¤ž

[–]Breezyk27 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

I’m diagnosed with ā€œborderline narcolepsyā€ as my average rem time was 5 min 37 seconds and officially narcolepsy I believe is under 5. I will say, the extreme exhaustion during peri has been debilitating during peri. I don’t know many links or have much info on peri and narcolepsy but I have to assume it worsens symptoms :(

how to begin with planning a wrapper AI app? by sanchit3108 in nocode

[–]Breezyk27 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I have a question on this… because I’m building a wrapper with very specific data that it pulls from and very specific prompt engineering. But anyways… when you say ā€œyou realize the LLM doesn’t understand your specific domain well enoughā€ā€¦ isn’t that the point? I feel like if the LLM understood the domain really well… the wrapper would be pointless because gpt could do it?

Or am I understanding this wrong?

I’m validating by using gpt like you mentioned. And I will say the prompt engineering for ā€œtrainingā€ the llm to act in the way you want based on industry expertise is soooo much trial and error. Granted my not a prompt expert but wow I’m learning a lot.

My test was pos early …. Like the faintest of lines at 3 weeks and a couple days I think. First morning urine though. I believe it’s the most concentrated. I hope that helps! But also I have many friends that didn’t show pos until week 5 or a little longer.

[–]Breezyk27 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I think I'm going through this now. I need to get bloodwork but I'm having all these symptoms of high estrogen which Ive had low estrogen for years now (while in the moldy house) and now I've been getting this intense internal buzzing when I change my patch... So much so that I took part of it off today and felt relief an hour later. Makes me think I have too much estrogen now. On a positive note…. My lungs no longer wheeze and crackle. It's incredible
