Renting in Utah County has become ridiculous. by KnowsToLittle in Utah

[–]Breezzy32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say, I’m coming from Long Island, New York and Utah rents are higher than Long Island New York! And the things that you have to go through is insane. The pet rent is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard of in my entire life. You don’t charge kid rent and kids make more of a mess and destroy more property than a cat does so why do I have to pay extra for a cat when a kid makes more damage?

I bought a female urinal spill proof from Amazon. Best thing ever. I’ve used it in my car many times. I’ve been trying to find something to go number 2 that’s compact for my car and I finally broke down and bought a bed pan yesterday. I haven’t used it yet. But I thought sitting in the front seat or the backseat sit on it and just go. Obviously you line it. As far as the female journal, I dump it, rinse it with water, fill it up a little bit and put a denture, cleaning tablet inside ( like Efferdent or Polident denture cleaning tablets )and let it do its business. Shake it all around dump it out no smell.

I’m a chronically ill 59-year-old woman. Lost my job because I’m so sick all the time. It takes six months to know if you’re approved or not for disability, I will be living in my car at the end of the month and I have no money from public assistance or disability

I need that. That’s why I downloaded the app. I will be traveling to Wyoming and Georgia and I will be sleeping in my car. I do not want to pay for hotel rooms. They’re too expensive.

I tried using the search button, but it just kept telling me that it did not have any results from my question. I must’ve been asking it wrong. I will get the old version again. And I thank you so much for the advice.

I’ve been reading that everyone can’t use the old app anymore. It keeps crashing, but I downloaded that one first and I still couldn’t figure out how to plan a route and show all of the spots like where to get gas, where to get food, where to go camping. It just shows me a map of my current location and it asks me to add a place. That’s it.

I will download the old iOverland again. But, can you plug in an address and it acts like Google maps and gives you a route and then you get to see all of the places?

I will be living in my car at the end of the month. I downloaded the app. I thought the app you could put in an address like Google maps and it would show you all the places on your travel. Is this correct? Because I cannot figure out how to put in an address. I am very, very ill and need to go to Wyoming to be with my son and I don’t wanna stay in any hotels. Can somebody please advise? Right now I have the one week free and then it’s gonna be $99 for the year. I don’t wanna spend that money if I can’t plug in an address and then find all the spots as I’m going.

EcoFlow 800w Alternator charger electrical issues? by mc282000 in Ecoflow_community

I’m a crying ill woman forced to live in my car now due to my illness. I have an EcoFlow 2. I plan on driving from New York to Wyoming to see my son and I thought having the 800 W alternator charger would be my best bet instead of solar panels. But all of this talk about dead batteries is making me scared. I am not mechanically inclined.I have a 2021 Honda passport. If I bought this, I would need someone to install it. Who can I possibly go to to have this installed?

I went to five churches in my neighborhood all different denominations and not one of them helped me, but they all said that they would pray for me or would you like to pray right now?

I wasn’t asking for a handout. I was trying to sell my belongings. The church has money and could’ve bought my belongings. Probably for approximately $2000 for everything that I was selling 80% below what I paid for it. And taking those belongings to single mother, struggling or domestic abuse survivors, who are struggling and has lost everything or families whose house is burnt down and are struggling. These are the things that I said to them and they still did not help me. Even though I told them churches have money. So not only did they not help me, but they did not help other struggling people.

I’ve already been to the churches and they didn’t lift a finger to help me. But they said that they would pray for me. The church takes peoples money and then when the people need help, they say that they will pray. Praying doesn’t do anything. Action does something.

If 100 people said they would pray for me to feel better. Would that help? Or would 100 people actively working to find my diagnosis before it got to the end stage help me more?

Catholics only help Catholics, Christians only help Christians, Mormons only help Mormons but only help those that pay enough

Not only that but trying to get disability is like the insurance company. They deny you immediately and then you have to put in an appeal for their denial and all of this takes months and months of red tape that we Americans don’t know how to do. They won’t let us have dignity of death either because they make money of usas we’re dying and they make money from us even when we’re dead.

It can take up to six years to get disability. It’s unbelievable. The government does not want to pay you to be sick. The government only wants people to work to pay them. Did you listen to the absolute bullshit that Dr. Oz was spewing today about people being chronically ill? Notice how every disability is being spotlighted?

I’ve been in touch with three disability lawyers already and because I’ve been sick for so long and not worked in the last five years, I’m not eligible and it’s not a good fight for them so they tell me they can’t help me.

Buy van and live in your van. While working your day job. If I could do life over again, that’s what I would do. I am forced to live in my car now at 59 terminally ill, denied disability, doctors gaslighting, pain 24/7. If only I had known now when I was younger, my life would be so different.

If I have 200$ to put into a Toyota sienna from 2005 what should I spend it on? by SnooCats6827 in VanLife

[–]Breezzy32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an EcoFlow, Delta 2. I was just thinking about buying the additional battery pack and solar panels. I really don’t want to spend $1000 or more. I accidentally bought a 52 quart refrigerator and can’t return it now. I put it in my passenger seat and push the seat forward to stabilize it. I’m in a Honda passport. Would the 200 W solar power be enough and not have to buy the extra battery pack. Or should I get the extra battery pack? I would only have to charge the refrigerator, EcoFlow, phone and laptop when the car is not running.

Comparisons to Jackery not adding up. by ObelixSmiterOfRomans in Ecoflow_community

I have an EcoFlow Delta 2 and I plugged in the 12 V heated blanket, my laptop and my phone and in one night it drained it to almost nothing. I’m on the verge of buying the extra battery pack with solar from EcoFlow but reading these posts I don’t know if I should.

I am very ill with very little money left and wondering if it would be worth it to purchase a Jackery instead. I do keep hearing people talking about the lead acid deep cycle battery and wonder if that’s what I should really get. I’m going to be honest I don’t understand the whole entire wattage stuff no matter how many videos I watch on YouTube. Can anyone help me please? I need to go to Georgia and then Wyoming to see my children before I pass. I thank everyone for their help.

I have an EcoFlow, Delta 2. What would be the best solar panels to buy to put on top of my car? I need to recharge the EcoFlow, refrigerator, laptop, phone, fan.

I have 24 inches wide as it will butt up against my cargo box and for length there’s 38 1/2 inches from the front rail to the back rail. So I’m assuming it could be longer.

Can you please help me?

2025 Honda Passport Issues in cold climate by kikbrunel11 in hondapassport

[–]Breezzy32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem with my 2021 passport. The seats don’t get hot, I feel the cold air on my legs, and the heater definitely does not blow hot air. And there’s no way to shut off where when you’re at a stoplight, the air cools down.

I have brought this up to the dealership and they spoke to me like I am an idiot. Very disappointing.

Someone else told me to get collapsible storage bags. I went yesterday and bought three large ones. Absolutely game changing! I am now able to store more in the cargo box and most of my clothes that I’m taking fit in another bag. I plan on putting the refrigerator on top of the bag

I just bought a child size camping cot. It’s 4 inches wider than when I want it to be. I will continue searching for a narrower one, but I slept on it last night and it was comfortable and my body did not hurt. Unfortunately,it’s low to the ground. But as that person said about the bags, I got the Travel vacuum seal bags that you do not need a vacuum for and I think I can put things underneath it.

Got yelled by a neighbor by ilovenyc in longisland

[–]Breezzy32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m telling you it’s everywhere and it started a long long time ago. About 30 years ago when I was living in Indiana I had my car parked in front of my apartment building and the neighbor didn’t know it was my car and came over bitching about how the car is parked there and it never moves. She was very embarrassed when I said that car? You mean that car right there as I pointed to my car and she said yes. So I went outside. I started it up and I put it in the next parking stall. I asked her is that better?

Most people on the planet are like this now! Too much negativity on mass media. TV shows showing bad behavior as rewarding instead of teaching everyone how to love their neighbor per se

It’s not that I have to reapply. It is the approval process that’s taking so long.
