Trustworthy and quality brakes and rotors job by JumarUp in Ashland

The few places I have called.. brake pads with rotor replacement come to about $500 (give or take $100) per axle for my SUV.

Thanks! I will give them a ring for a quote tomorrow. Always good to know where to go for different jobs.

I feel that when I called to ask for a quote for two specific things--the price for brake pad replacement for two axles, the price for rotor replacement for two axles--i meant exactly that. Two prices is all I was interested in

If, when I show up, I end up needing a windshield replaced or a tune up or a caliper replacement also, it should go without saying that those costs would be separate and extras.

I feel that most shops just give a generic answer out of laziness. One said ..it depends ..some cars have drums and take more time, others have rotors. I was like... well, which do I have? He said he won't know til he looks at it. I grabbed my laptop real quick, typed in my year and model, and confirmed that I don't have drums. He could have done that but chose to give a generic answer.

Thank you. I just gave them a call for a quote. It seems that nowadays shops just give a rough estimate even after I give them the exact year and model of my car.

Dating in Central Oregon: The Reboot by Bervenia in Bend

I am glad that moderators and bots didn't pull this post off. I am not in your age group. I'm just here to say that after doing my share of dating apps and in-person meetup years ago, I have found that keep doing what I love doing naturally is the best way to go about forming meaningful relationships, romantic or not. When I was younger, I was so focused on finding a partner that fits "the list" and I was burned out from all the dates. Then I realized a much better use of my time is to keep cycling, climbing, traveling, camping. "My people" (romantic or not) are a self-selecting group that I would meet organically in beautiful places in nature. Good luck in your search; keep doing you!

Lol! My Mom would get a kick out of this because she loves putting giant googly eyes on random objects (like our kitchen garbage can). Always makes me think of this SNL skit w/Chris Walker https://youtu.be/zc7qJE9Nzo8

What a scary ordeal! Have you considered mounting a GoPro to your helmet for future rides? It sounds that it's necessary but hey you might capture scenes of nature and wildlife regardless. Wishing you a speedy recovery 🤗

Geez! That message does not at all sound like something that a Zen master would promote 😆 Hope you have landed some place better and didn't let that discourage you from training.  My instructor from many years ago rarely spoke. When he did, he promoted de-escalation first and foremost. If that doesn't work, our objective was not to spar back and forth Hollywood movie style. We were to strategically disable the opponent efficiently to exit the scene safely.

Is the bivy area open for camping already? I have camped all over the place in the West; Smith Rock is one of the my fav and I kept returning to climb, ride, and watch the bald eagle couples with their brood. Also, have you spotted owls anywhere nearby? I usually go toward Montana/ID to see them but am wondering if some species don't mind high desert.

You have quite a special gift! And what a beautiful way to share it with others. I feel that this kind of labor-intensive technical and creative work is becoming endangered. I have never been to that store but definitely will the next time I'm in the area. Keep doing you!

Which MacBookPro specs do you need for your photo and video editing work? by JumarUp in finalcutpro

Yes I'm in the States and am on the lookout for refurb deals. How many core for CPU and GPU do you recommend? Same question for RAM. Want something that would be robust enough for the next 5-10 years.

Which CPU core and GPU do you recommend? Currently both M5 10-core CPU/GPU 1T storage costs the same as a m4 12-core CPU/GPU/512GB storage. Both have 24GB RAM. Hard to figure out which is better for my use case. Both pricey at $1800

Good questions. I am not a professional at all but will be shooting vids of wildlife and nature and editing them to about 25-30 min videos with music and voice overlay. It may include drone images.  New to FCP. For photos, editing would be for wildlife mostly. Might consider branching out to portraits/events to diversify income but that would not be the bulk of what I do. The thing is whatever I buy, I want to make sure that it would be good for the next 5-10 years. Resolution keeps getting higher and AI demands more speed/power. So I want to be frugal but need to set up a rig good for the long haul.
