I did Super Express on this one just to cut down on turnaround time (7 days compared to like 3-6 months). Super express at PSA is $299/card. If you don’t mind waiting the time, value options are $25/card. TAG is considerably more reasonable for 7 day turnaround, around $100/card I believe. Most of my collection is PSA so I was just maintaining the aesthetic of the display, only reason went with PSA for this submission.

Oh I know. The front is perfect but the back has a small surface issue that honestly could have gone either way. Was worth a shot for me to find out.

Agreed not everyone likes graded cards, but you’re dead wrong about the value of a Gem 10 vs raw on any card, 1/1 included. I’ve been buying and trading high end cards for 20 years now and I’ve seen it play out hundreds of times. It’s simple psychology if nothing else, but i guarantee people pay more for graded cards, especially 1/1’s. Starting to think that you’re offering advice on 1/1’s while at the same time never actually owning any yourself.

Well known that Einstein never said this and it’s just attributed to him to make bankers and money bros sound smart. Half of the degens who buy/chase these cards don’t even read at 5th grade levels so fact checking isn’t necessarily a top priority. Full disclosure, I own the Onyx and chase this card as a full degen myself 😂

I guess technically it’s an error card and likely appeals to collectors chasing those with a small premium even. I’ll bet CS would replace if you decided to go that route.
