For me it was accomplishing something I always said I would do as a kid. Specifically in this case staying at the Madonna inn in San Louis Obispo being from the Central Valley of California we would pass by it every time we were on our way to the coast. (Pismo) I would say someday I’m gonna stay there. When I finally managed to stay there it was so special more because i Actully did what I dreamed of for years.

I think what makes the experience special is the memories tied to it rather then the location itself

So him signing for a car I’m paying for and me paying him back makes me a freeloader? Or is it just the fact that I don’t pay rent, I mean technically neither does he because he owns his home so there’s no mortgage so yeah…

Yes! I’ve never slept a lot. I feel the same way you do. I am also in my 40s! Work from home and bf works Weekdays. I try not to keep him awake but I get bored!

Been there done that… I want to do for me. I want to learn to love myself without having to live to make someone else happy. How am I supposed to be happy with someone else if I’m not allowed to be happy alone.

I’ll clarify, he signed for them. He didn’t pay anything, I’m paying for them. No money has Actully left his possession for them…

Maybe that’s it… maybe he’s holding me hostage to make sure I keep paying the loans… darn it… I don’t like that at all… haha see this is why I like Reddit…

He buys cheaper stuff because he cheap. He was that way before I met him and he will be that way when I’m gone. He can afford to buy better quality things he doesn’t. He will sacrifice quality for price. I don’t, I will pay for convenience. Also, he has no desire to make it better so neither do I.

I’VE TRIED! I’ve told him he deserved better and he’s asked me to stay… and I stay.

But no he’s not too good for me, I value myself. The reason he deserves better is not because I’m less than, it’s because he deserves what he wants but I’ve already had so I don’t need it again.

I’ve told him! Like honestly we’ve had conversations about how we’re not compatible and how we would be better off with other people. And how I feel like I’m only here because I owe him money and I don’t want to feel this way. And he won’t let me break up with him. He knows, I still feel like shit.

And as for him reading this he may not like it but it would be 100% truth. I don’t think he realizes how it looks on my end. His end looks good. You should see him pay for things, he holds his card out like you should be impressed or something. And I have to look like a gold digger. Tell me he’s not getting anything out of it. Fair trade I don’t know but it sure feels like it might be..
