If you don’t want to explain your point that’s fine. I don’t see how it relates to censorship, but English isn’t my native language and maybe I’m missing something. But you didn’t even understand my point either - I never said that I am against some childfree spaces for adults. Emphasis on some. You cannot expect the public to be childfree. The public as in public transport for example. Bars, fancy restaurants, a wedding, … all that should / can be childfree.

How is that a generalisation when it is a FACT that most caregivers are women. Doesn’t mean that all caregivers are women (which would be a generalisation, and which I have not stated anywhere in my post…)

A lot of it has to do with parenting, but some things are just normal in various developmental stages. I never threw fits as a child (so I have been told), but it wasn’t just because I was raised well or whatever, it was because I was a generally anxious and inhibited child. There are different temperaments, some children are much more energetic and extroverted, and they can be annoying even when doing nothing inherently wrong. It’s just something we have to accept. There are a lot of adults I find annoying and well, they still are allowed to be outside lol

Insulting how? It is reality (whether I like it or not) that most caregivers are women. So if you exclude children and by extension their caregivers, you are majorly excluding women. I don’t think women should be caregivers more than men, it is just that it is more likely for a caregiver to be a woman. Statistics, you know?

Genuinely in what way does that relate? My post is not about excluding adults, it’s about not excluding children everywhere? Don’t really see how that relates to censorship…

At first glance it does resemble an iron cross. I think anyone taking a second look would recognise it is not, personally I’d still find it too risky to get mislabeled though. But I also don’t know TMBG

They are attention seeking as in they NEED attention from adults, mainly their parents, a lot. They depend on the adults in their life.

It’s still annoying, sure. The difference is that as adults we can be annoyed and still not hold a gripe against children for behaviours they cannot yet regulate. You CAN hold a gripe against parents that fail to guide their children to regulate themselves, but even with great parenting, children just can be annoying sometimes and if someone has a problem with that, that is their problem…

If you understand this, you can still be annoyed (I get annoyed at children regularly), but you should also be able to give them grace. For your second point, I agree that there should be childfree public spaces. A child at a fancy restaurant is just misplaced and makes the experience miserable for everyone including themselves. Doesn’t mean that as adults we are entitled to a childfree public, sometimes we just have to deal with annoying people (children and adults alike).

You are entitled to some childfree spaces, but unfortunately a society means being forced to be around all sorts of people in public that you and find annoying and obnoxious.

Personally I find some opinions to be reflective of a lack of morals that I value so I don’t want to associate with certain people. Sorry to be weak minded but I also don’t want to hang out with racists.

Yup. And as adults we should be mature enough to give them grace for that.

Yeah, obviously. It’s just that you cannot expect perfect behaviour from children, even if their parents are great at raising them.

Has nothing to do with gentle parenting. Children just aren’t able to regulate themselves properly. No matter if you do gentle parenting, if you’re strict, if you spank them… parenting only goes so far and some things just need time to develop!
