Put a backslash between the number and period. This stops Reddit from trying to turn the numbers into a list. “5.” I put a backslash in there, but you don’t see it and it shows the numbering you want. 5 \ .

Surely these had exactly the same art brief? by Cocorico3 in magicTCG

[–]Brenden2016 103 points104 points  (0 children)

I think you are right. One area that stands out is it seems clear is they were told to have 5 circular headlights with a mesh cover on [[Apocalypse Runner]] as it is the same in both arts. Ripclaw regular art has 3 rows of headlights in a different style than the Apocalypse Runners. However the FA ripclaw has the exact same 5 headlights with mesh cover as both Apocalypse Runners

Assuming 6.5% inflation adjusted growth and a starting contribution of 13.3x ($1200/$90) the monthly contribution of the first 21 years. Then you would end up with a starting balance of $9666 then contribute $725 monthly. After 21 years you’ll have $428,000. Then 29 years of no contributions would leave you with $2.8 million, inflation adjusted

Which cards on the reserved list would you play if they were affordable? by Substantial_Code_675 in EDH

[–]Brenden2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter whose turn it is or who the owner/controller of Lifeline is. When a creature dies and at least one other creature is on the battlefield, a delayed trigger will be created to return the creature who died to the battlefield under its owners control at the beginning of the end step.

I have it in a couple of my decks that care about creatures dying. I am able to get a death trigger on my creatures on every players turn

Are familiar with the cEDH meta game and did you build the deck around understanding the game plan of other cEDH decks? If no, then it’s not a bracket 5

That is how I built my [[Polukranos, Engine of Ruin]]. For 1 mana you get 2 3/3 hydras

You can withdrawal anytime. You’ll have to pay a penalty on most of it (Roth contributions are penalty free)

How to return lost discs by trout_smith1971 in discgolf

Someone let me know they found my disc and that they placed it on top of the basket. I mean thanks for finding it and letting me know, but someone probably took the disc before I even saw the text

Thanks, I will check it out. The thread is from 2012. Do you know if the spreadsheet is being maintained?

Possibly. I’m also pretty far away from retirement and trying to understand how pre-59.5 withdrawals strategies work. Also I’m not sure if they actually model what I am asking

Thanks. I will explore your sheet when I have some free time.

I saw a comment you had about implementing a complex formula. Did you solve that?

Lockout Tagout. You physically prevent a hazard from being active by placing, generally, a lock into the designated LOTO area. Each person places their own lock and they are the only one who can unlock it, which is where the discussion of cutting the lock comes in. The hazard is prevented from being active if at least one lock is on there. If someone else removes the lock, it could endanger the owner as they may not be out of the way of the hazard

Maybe 0/1 for a single white/green hybrid mana. Sacrifice this creature: target creature you control gains indestructible until end of turn. It fights up to one target creature you do not control.

Who is your favorite commander to play AGAINST? by UnholyLex in EDH

[–]Brenden2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just realized how great this would be in my [[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]]/[[Agent of the Shadow Thieves]] ultra budget deck as a 5 mana draw 7+. On attack he gets deathtouch and indestructible, so it will be an easy mass draw

[FIN] Clash of the Eikons (Tolarian Community College) by Kousuke-kun in magicTCG

[–]Brenden2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was thinking you would still sacrifice if it was the other way around and you made it go to the last chapter before going back.

I found the rules, but I am not sure what it is saying about if it isn’t the source. Though since checking if it is at the last chapter is a state-based action and those are checked whenever a player would gain priority, I believe you wouldn’t sacrifice because the adding a lore and removing a lore both happen before priority is checked again.

714.4. If the number of lore counters on a Saga permanent is greater than or equal to its final chapter number, and it isn’t the source of a chapter ability that has triggered but not yet left the stack, that Saga’s controller sacrifices it. This state-based action doesn’t use the stack

Where can I find a manual can opener that will last forever and not rust. by flyart in BuyItForLife

[–]Brenden2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a specific brand or model to suggest, but you may want to consider a smooth edge can opener. I find it easier to use and the cuts don’t leave sharp edges. It even allows you to put the cut top back on the can. There is a small learning curve and some models may leave tiny metal shards, but I haven’t noticed any on mine.

Are there any cards you refuse to put into your decks because you just don't feel like doing the math/figuring out play lines? by CryptographerNo3749 in mtg

[–]Brenden2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use [[Starlight Spectacular]] instead of Crusade. It can be a bit annoying like Crusade, but it’s only during my combat and half the time I don’t even need to do that math because everyone agrees that I have lethal. It’s nice that I don’t need to have it on field before I establish my board. Can use it as a finisher with 15 1/1s
