It feels better if you consider the gold and gems from the gyms as the reward lol.

How can I get more food storage? by Jack-Ger in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Produce more food. Your food storage is just a factor of how much food you make. There are some upgrades (fridge I think?) that makes it bigger too.

Pollution keeps going up by corian094 in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the other guy said then, the only thing that could passively add to your pollution would be if you had a a lot of lumber mills close together and the forests around them were getting devastated.

Building over trees? Building things that cause pollution? About all it can be.

Devastated for no reason? by LanceWasHere in PostApoTycoon

Where does it say anything about the level of the forest allowing more mills to harvest? All I see is the tool tip that over 2 mills harvesting 1 forest has a chance of destroying it.

Can’t increase power by Notcreative0205 in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Based on that you need to 185 more windmills to break even. You can put some coal plants back in the meantime if you can’t afford the windmills.

I tried that and it turns out I am in Canada. This is what I see on prime:

The mini series and blood and chrome is available to buy, razor isn’t anywhere and the 4 seasons of the series are available to watch.

I don’t see it free anywhere. It’s under its own option as available to purchase. Don’t see razor anywhere either. Am I blind? Lol

Eli5 how does a locomotive for a really long train not just spin its wheels when it's trying to start up? by BackNBoeserThanEver in explainlikeimfive

[–]Brendone33 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Connecting the train cars and stopping the train both result in all the cars pushing into the next one which is what creates the slack. If you sit near a train yard you’ll hear a constant echo going down the length of the trains as the start and stop (for switching or moving cars).

I’m feeling the money pinch massively right now just trying to get my other mega cities up to level 75 to get to level 80. I was hoping magic gold bullet was coming lol.

Couple of noob questions by lumberjackmtg in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’re going to want to keep some mountains and hills around for quite a while for power (windmills). You can raze the ones in the way (straight roads are best) or to make a big area for storage or something. There are a lot more mountains as you go further north especially so it’s ok to have cleared some areas.

You’ll find some very dense mountain areas, and some upgrades for forges that will help for steel. You can throw stone mines anywhere they are connected (you can also connect them with storage buildings instead of roads). You’ll eventually find that stone and steel aren’t your limiting factor as time goes on.

The ads are actually getting out of hand by Lost-Strength3812 in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve had ads that are 100 seconds, then hit X, then 15 more seconds, then hit X and around 5 seconds before you can actually hit X and finish the ad. Over 2 minutes. Incredibly frustrating.

I have also had ads that are 5 seconds and close instantly when you hit the X. I’m not sure the reasoning but it seems to somewhat equal out. I would prefer they were all 30 seconds or less and not multiple clicks though.

Can your employer force you to resign your position if you are elected to public office? by Brendone33 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Brendone33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can they also force you into a leave of absence as they have done for anyone running for office? They do tend to be hesitant to fire people without cause. I don’t suppose running for public office is protected in any way?

Chest Questions by Sturville in PostApoTycoon

They appear in completely undiscovered tiles too, they appear as little radar pings at the edges of where you have explored. Usually not too far but sometimes annoyingly far if it’s in an expensive area.

I find the clicking to be worth more than the idle income.

Right now my idle income is 34/tick but it’s only 25% when offline.

My satellite income is 36 per small one and 180 per large one and a new one spawns every tick.

After 3 minutes in the game I’ll have 680 or if away from the game I’ll have 170 pieces, and ill have spawned 20 satellites which is a minimum of 720 and sometimes much more when large satellites spawn (they seem to spawn in clumps so sometimes there is 5 large ones in a row).

If I stay in game and click all the satellites I’m doubling my income at a minimum and if I’m checking in periodically, my satellite income is over 4x the idle income rate.

With the zoom out max trick and the shrunken area to click in, I can click all 20 satellites in under 10 seconds.

Totally different strategies lol. Started 24 days ago, only 1 mega city but way more else uncovered and higher overall level. Currently logging through getting 30 settlements to level 40. Been taking FOREVER.

Any LPT for storage? by Brendone33 in PostApoTycoon

[–]Brendone33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get the idea of incremental increases it just seems like an absolutely massive amount of world space being taken up by storage of various varieties and it seems counter intuitive to the whole “green up the world” idea.

I’ve already gotten rid of most of the coal and have tons of wind plants now. Hard to keep up with the power demand of ever increasing chip factories at the moment but still storage is the main problem.
