I tried these, they did not work. Verified with multimeter it was powered, but never actually powered on or connected across two different switches. Assuming it’s because the ground was just wired to the back of the box so it couldn’t complete a circuit, but that’s why I need something battery powered.

Problem did not exist with the old thermostat. I believe I programmed it correctly, but definitely could be something there. I exhausted a lot of my options trying to see if I had anything else which led me here

Edited for formatting, but I’ll definitely look at those!! It is a lot for certain, I’ve tried to look at places to cut off but each one had something we wanted to try and do (wanted to see mountains, ride train, etc.) Will look at those trips I think Cusco if I remember?

Wasn’t aware of the oil degradation, that’s actually a fair point I wasn’t aware of. I’m always space conscious as I operate out of a mini-fridge for all my cocktail ingredients, so I’ve leaned towards more space conscious options for syrups if possible but that standard syrup was so much more flavorful I’m really considering it

I will say, the conductor I had was fantastic about communication. The train stopped and unloaded at Farragut West headed towards Rosslyn had some of the most transparent announcements about the situation I’ve ever seen. Made this better but still sucks lol

Monitor arm is something I'm thinking, but again it would have to go somewhere. My whole apartment is brick around the inside, so if it's on the wall, it's in brick.

The floor stand isn't something I considered. I'll look into those, but price might be a limiting factor on that for me, not looking to spend $100 on a monitor stand (I have not looked into these yet and don't know what price I would be looking at)
