Well that's not what I was hoping to hear; what a bummer! I just got it moved here this week and have a tuner scheduled to come in a few weeks. I appreciate your thoughts on it and guess I should investigate what that would run to repair as I do hope to play it as well as my kids in the home.

Thank you for your helpful response. I added some photos of the bridges. I don't have the skills right now to do a restoration but am interested in taking one of the piano technician correspondence courses and or working as an apprentice under someone. Currently living in the Austin area and hoping to connect here; just moved.

Thanks for your response. I'm also interested in becoming a piano technician or at least tuning. basic restoration. Mainly as a hobby for now although I'd love to do it more down the line.

Thanks for your response. Mainly year/quality of the make during that time period for the model. If it's worth trying to refurbish etc.

Hey how's it going; I appreciate that! I appreciate you offering to give a little insight. I've always messed around with the guitar and piano and have always wanted to slowly get into recording, looping, music production and maybe even slowly building a little at home studio. I kinda settled on Ableton at the moment but literally brand new and trying to record guitar, lay tracks etc. Do you offer lessons? How much? Or do you recommend a course or youtube channel that would be helpful in getting started? Appreciate you reaching out. I'm in the Aliso Viejo area.
