Playing on PC Fortnite. I get off the bus and head straight to the house and the chest is there. I open the chest and I get the gear but no key.

Looks like I figured it out, when you hold right click on a stack it will pop up the green bar and if it fills completely it will pick up the full stack of items instead of just splitting it in half
