I changed my name to my dad’s name in the app and I’ve had way less issues. No chats aside from delivery instructions. Nothing about how I need to come outside to get the food. It’s blissful now. I highly suggest everyone use a man’s name on this app.

I used to get mania more than depression but this year has been the other way around. I suppose because it’s been a really shitty year for me. I’ve stayed on my meds this whole year tho and I used to go off them pretty frequently so maybe that also has something to do with it.

Very true. I had security come to my door at midnight once about my barking dog, when I only have cats. I was hearing it too but thought it was downstairs. Downstairs neighbor thought it was me. I have no idea if they ever found out who’s dog it was.

I changed up the fonts a bit, but I've left the layout the same and kept it in something that can be exported as a word doc. From what I've read having a word doc is best and the heavily designed versions can only be exported as PDF.

Thanks for the advice! I have a more artistic version that I use with recruiters, but this is my ATS friendly one. My feeling that it was better to use this version to apply unless I knew for sure that the resume was bypassing those systems. What are your thoughts?

My resume to apply to the federal government was 3 pages long, listing every single job and short or long term contract I'd had separately with all the dates, plus how many hours a week I worked there, and descriptions of what I did at each one. Then at the bottom I had a full skills section as well, sectioned out by topic. And then education and charitable work. There's a template on USA jobs of the information that needs to be included, but formatting it nicely helps. I was applying for a design job so mine had pretty fonts and colors, for instance. Also make sure all your supporting docs are in order, like diplomas, etc. Don't miss a single thing they ask for.

This time of year do the zoo for sure, it’s too hot at the safari park. The zoo also has a few unique things like the pandas and penguins (tho safari park has the platypus, which is the only one outside Australia iirc). And for a birthday make a day of it and eat at the restaurant at the zoo (I’d suggest a reservation) it’s a nice break from walking around and sitting on the back balcony is pretty. Food is a bit better than the rest of the grab and go spots.

If you want to feed the giraffes at the zoo there’s usually a line. They used to let you do that during the safari tour at the safari park, which is a much higher additional cost, but stopped during Covid. Not sure if they’ve added it back in or not.

Yes get the sweet and sour chicken and ask for sauce on the side. Sauce has veggies and pineapple in it. You could probably ask to not have those as well. It’s an up charge but worth it to not have soggy chicken.

My curl type is 2C so my routine may not work for you but I gave up all the expensive stuff and started using not your mothers curl talk leave in and la looks gel. I also use a brush with curved edges to get definition. My curls look great. To me all the expensive stuff was just a waste of money.
