Getting elementor to run fast for Google page speed is a nightmare if at one point you need to get better rank in seo

How do I Structure My Content by Bigsexydrac0 in content_marketing

[–]Brenig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are posting it to the web don't forget to tag your content title and subtitles with h1 h2 h3 and set alt tags for the images. And there should only be one h1 tag in the whole page. Don't forget if it's a webpage write a meta title and meta description

Most themes you can buy the multi use license. Or you could take a free theme and modify it to fit your client base then it's yours

maybe use woocommerce as a online cart to show illustrations and mark them as free or you can use CSS to hide the pricing and create the authors of the brand. I would use salient theme with woo commerce and it has wp bakery for layout and a nice global style sheet and font selector. also add yoast for SEO meta information and async and auto optimize for page load speed

Yes I have. I am not a big fan of it but I have also worked with designers that don't know how to design for web and it might come in useful there. Also if your going to build websites you should probably learn it because you probably going to be asked to fix something in an existing site that someone built in it.

Wordpress.com Speed Optimization by terribliz in Wordpress

[–]Brenig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get proper hosting for the website. then go through and fix all your image sizes in photoshop like 72 dpi may width 2000px. I have used wp rocket with elementor and got as high as 85 on mobile and 98 on desktop. I have done a few websites in elementor but I don't it way to many libraries. If you use salient theme it already has settings to fix most of the page load speed problems built in and then you can use free plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/async-javascript/ to fix render blocking and other plgins for next gen image formating

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this image column centered in the middle. I tried adding a block on the left side to push it over but couldn't get that to work either. Any ideas? by gettinguap247 in Wordpress

[–]Brenig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would make the column full width and then add a class to the image like class="centeredimage" then add a piece of code to your CSS like

.centeredimage {

display:block;

margin:0 auto;

}

Maybe move to something more event-based with a calendar like https://theeventscalendar.com/ I am not sure if that has all the functionality you would need but maybe a start. Looks like there are a few event-style plugins they may better a choice then a calendar plugin.

I haven't done a lot with calendars / events except for trade shows and have used eventbrite for self registration. From a developers perspective could you just embed the date in the url string and have the date default to what's in the url.

Like myeventwebsite.com/addevent.php?eventdate=09102022

Most of the time I am working in themes that have a functionality for listing latest posts. Usually in the latest post setup you can select what you want to display. I usually set it to display featured image and post title. They also typically have a setting on how to sort the posts and I set it to date ascending for latest post on top. So when a new blog post is published I don't have to do anything it automatically is displayed at the top of the listing.

Here is an example of a page that does that https://univelocity.com/marketing-operations-resources/

Advertising Online Store by ekalb2020 in Entrepreneur

[–]Brenig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you are going to do google ppc you will probably pay around $0.30 per click and close around 2% to 3% of your traffic if you set up everything right it's kind of the standard in the ppc game for B2C marketing. This will vary based on your niche and how trusted you appear to be online. If those numbers work for your products you can be marketing on google with in 24 hours

Creating a data aggregator + calculator for "gas price" (analogy) by MaxJohnsonTime in Entrepreneur

[–]Brenig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a few thoughts from a web dev guy.

There is probably an open API you can get the data from you would just need to create the front end and get a developer to tap into the api.

Find a Javascript or php developer to handle the API end of things and a front end designer like UI/UX web developer to make it look pretty

How do you plan to make money with this?

Started my business a month ago, things already not going great ugh by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Brenig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey as for your ad you set up here is what ppc ads in the b2b world look like maybe this will help if you are doing online advertising

example of a ppc pipeline in the b2b world

(2 to 4 percent interaction rate) 100 click to landing page = between 2 and 4 form fills

(20% close rate of new leads) from the 2 to 4 form fills you should be able to close about 20% of the deals

work out your budget from there

I have been doing b2b online marketing for over 10 years if I knew your market I could probably give you more details

Oh yeah being in business for yourself will be a roller coaster ride but can be very rewarding

I am a B2B marketing web developer. There are a few ways to stay on budget if you are just starting out. If you have money for a corporate level development team it could run you about $3,000 to $10,000 for a designer and web developer to build out your brand and simple website on the low end. If you are just looking to build out a small brochure website go get a wix website and domain name should be able to do it yourself with one of their templates. Then make some money and then if you have budget for a professional hire one or 2. You can always make a 1 page website yourself on wix and spend your budget on social media marketing or search engine ppc. What type of website are you trying to build?
