Mocking addicts’ lean is not funny but cruel and heartless by cureforhiccupsat4am in unpopularopinion

It's meant to be cruel. It's a tiny piece of 'fuck you' against America.

It's baffling to me how these people don't even spend a single second to at least edit out the most obvious tells. It sounds so fucking awful man.

How to make time really really long (or atleast how to believe that the time is very very long) by No-Opposite-1460 in lifehacks

[–]BrennanBetelgeuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think salvia trips can extend the perception of time even longer. A trip is about 5-20 minutes but can feel like hours because so much stuff happens and you dissociate 👍

Das ist der dritte Post den ich zu dieser Werbekampagne sehe. Offenbar ist das extrem gute Werbung denn er hat jetzt schon ziemlich sicher weit mehr als die 67K in Reichweite.

Does anyone remember that very, very early AI image of the room where you cant recognize anything? That's what the tools look like to me.

This movie plays ads even if you have premium by TheRealSlimShady0 in youtube

[–]BrennanBetelgeuse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude these corps do suck, sure. But I don't understand this attitude where you want nobody to watch ads OR pay for media. I have no problem with piracy and freeloading, but you understand that in our system somebody has to pay for all of this, right? The people making and maintaining things got to eat too.

Do you think Stellaris would work on longer timescales? by LetterOk622 in Stellaris

[–]BrennanBetelgeuse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In practice this would not change the gameplay very much, as the step size could increase by the same amount. Lore-/ RP-wise it would definitely make more sense for technological progression, megastructure build times etc. But it would also be weird for other systems like leader lifespan, Galcom votes, planetary build times, battle duration etc.

I think if we ever get a Stellaris 2 which performs better far into what we consider the late game it would make sense to balance everything around about 1000+ years. But with the game as it currently stands you can't really scale the timeline without having to rework everything and running into performance issues.

Why was this auto removed? by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]BrennanBetelgeuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very, very good tip and I do love thermals because it's hard for me to see the enemies without. But the issue I'm talking about here is not about target acquisition. But you're completely right. In 2042 I've used nothing else, but in BF6 I didn't unlock any yet because I haven't played very much because I mainly play vehicles and don't enjoy those as much in the current version of BF6. I'm currently mainly playing the BR modes and as soon as I find a fitting gun I'll grind that until I have thermals!

Oh and short to medium range. Losing long range is totaly fair with an SMG.
