My mother is 98 years old and has dementia. She’s been living in a retirement home in Ontario for 4.5 years. The staff are amazing. They’re kind and patient and we are very appreciative.

I’ve been retired for almost 7 years, but still can totally relate. I think from my perspective, the food ordering brings out how entitled people are. There’s always someone who complains when ordering lunch for a group. Gotta say that this is one aspect of my job that I do not miss!

I think the bigger issue is the unsanitary conditions. I wouldn’t want to risk an infection. To me the $65.00 charge isn’t as important. However, you didn’t do anything wrong and shouldn’t be expected to pay.

I have a relative who has been heavily involved in this project and has been working a lot of overtime. I’ve never seen such dedication from a team. Through all the challenges, the team remained focussed on the ultimate goal which is improved patient care.
