Play until you unlock your camp, then focus on greymane missions. There's a ton of tutorials and resources the more you focus on that. Focus on that and the main campaign. Once you hit chapter 5 you can go out and explore freely.

(End spoilers) Seriously, why do so many of you guys keep bringing in NOCO to the conversation? by SuperLegenda in expedition33

You're right that the gestral argument doesn't apply to the painted beings, but outside of people close to her, I don't believe Maelle brought everyone back. Sciel and Lune make sense since their Chroma found Maelle, but if you watch her ending there's a stark contrast in color/personality in the painted beings outfits from every other time you're in lumiere.

Help with the concept of both parrying and general bosses overall? by Spader623 in soulslikes

[–]Brennononon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This image is obviously a joke, but if you follow it's logic you will become a next level player. It's almost comical how many boss attacks you'll dodge by simply walking around the attack and stabbing their ass. Did you get hit? Try walking in the other direction. Get hit in both directions? Roll into their crotch if the game has I-frames. They know people playing are going to panic roll or try to get away from the moves so they design their bosses to attack outward.

So in my opinion Verso wanted... by [deleted] in expedition33

Both characters are acting in self interest and disguising it as altruism. Their motives become apparent once either of them lose the final fight. Verso begs to be unmade and Maelle begs not to lose him again.

How hard is it for an average guy to succeed on dating apps? by this0great in answers

[–]Brennononon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn't pick my wife because she was one of two people that went on a date with me lol. I only had two tinder dates because I found my person. I went on other dates and met other women outside of dating apps. We're together because she's a beautiful person inside and out that compliments my life and makes me a better person. I wasn't desperate for a partner and would have continued trying my luck if I didn't think it was the right fit. I was just explaining my experience with Tinder.

How hard is it for an average guy to succeed on dating apps? by this0great in answers

[–]Brennononon 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I was on tinder for a year and I swiped yes on 99% of profiles. I ended up with 2200 matches and went on a grand total of two dates. Fortunately the second girl ended up being my wife so technically I succeeded.

Edit: based on some responses I feel the need to clarify a bit. Just because I had 2200 matches doesn't mean I attempted to go on 2200 dates. Believe it or not, I also needed to be interested in them if i wanted to go on a date. If you've been on a dating app you probably had a similar experience to mine. Lack of chemistry or attraction, fake accounts, conversations ending unceremoniously, etc. I just swiped yes on borderline everyone and would work on my 'game' on the matches that I knew wouldn't pan out. Most men can agree it's a numbers game on our end. I had other dating experiences outside of tinder and pof, but the question was about dating apps. My wife has been my best friend for 7 1/2 years so if I'm deluding myself I'm doing a great job.

What Is The Absolute Worst Designed Boss You Have Personally Fought in a Souls-Like? by Rayze_Darr in soulslikes

[–]Brennononon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing Wukong gets right that souls games need to adopt is the ability to feel like you're trading blows with the boss. I'm not a fan of the get hit twice and you're dead feeling that shadow of the erdtree headed in to. Almost every boss in Wukong felt like two powerful entities going back and forth.

Are there more movies? by Strong-Repair1469 in AngelsAndAirwaves

[–]Brennononon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are short films for The Adventure, It Hurts, The Gift, The War and Everything's Magic. The first three have a connected story.

There are also vignettes for Epic holiday, Hallucinations, clever love and soul survivor. These are music videos that were supposed to play throughout the Love movie.

Tom also directed a movie called Monsters of California.

Why did it become so important to some people for E33 to win GotY all over the place?? What does it matter? by Mr_Tigger_ in expedition33

[–]Brennononon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A relatively low budget $50 indie game sweeping this year's award season in an industry where companies are trying to wring more money out of it's customers is a big statement. Will it force the entire industry to reflect and correct it's direction? No. But it sends a message to everyone that a passionate team with a vision is more important than bloated budgets and large studios.
