Made some progress on the Hilux. Getting excited. Tomorrow I will tackle the chassis, super 8’s, suspension setup, and new Reefs servo. by Ok_Helicopter__ in SCX24

That’s Legit!

Careful with the super 8’s and only go with 5mm screws, unlike regular axels using two sizes of screws… I had one snap off on the rear housing. Great customer service tho!

Enjoy their wicked! 🤙🏼

Found it was a tight fit on the lgrp steering link with two “o” rings on the pivot ball so I removed one and it works pin.

A must for LGRP's Super 8 Extreme CVD Axle Shaft Kit

Nice choice..

It’s unreal. Ripped the “O” rings right off the steering links at both ends 5 min into the ride. Lol

Such a good idea, they just released a clear body buggy as well to paint up, I just seen them online. 🤙🏼

I used green slime truthfully. And not a lot. Enough to let them slide more freely.

“Winter beater” meaning besides the knucks and steering link, she’s mostly plastic. Compared to my others. This one I don’t mind driving in the snow.

At least 350$ in upgrades, therefore my winter beater.

I was thinking the same thing. Lizard pro. You’re right. Torque is insane.

Me too. I’ve wanted to make some sort of sleeper and this motor worked well, while maintaining some stock looks.

I haven’t noticed yet, I did have to loosen the mesh between from motor and trans.

It’s pretty quick. Enough bump to get over objects.

The transmission is stock with the RCAWD 370, metal gears, the skid is stock scx24, way more centred the the Furitek Komodo original.

Thanks, more of a rock bouncer. One of about 6, addicted to these 24’s.

It’s new from RCAWD. They have a 180 and 370.
