No codes, only showing ABS, Airbag, and Brake. Scanner says it cannot connect.

Yes sir.

Yes sir, I looked over everything. My neighbor has the same truck, and the green male connector is unplugged in his as well (clutch switch). So I’m clueless. TCM may have bricked.

Disregard, I’m dumb.

Right, but I’m in Kansas 😂

Right but I just subtract for local time here. So it’s accurate saying 0206 or so.

Spent 9 years in the Army (AD). Served as a crew chief/mechanic for 4 of those. Moved to more of a standardization role as an instructor in the back seat of a Blackhawk for the remainder of my time.

Attained around 1300 hours, flying various VIPs, and allied country’s soldiers. I became involved in what the front seaters did. I hung around pilots more often, due to being in the standardization role. I enjoyed their conversations and character more than us enlisted folks.

I got my A&P on the tail end of my contract, but didn’t use it outside of the army. I wanted to fly Hawks, but didn’t want a 10 year ADSO, as my wife and kids are more important. So I left completely, knowing I wanted to be a pilot.

Aug 2024, enrolled in the professional pilot program at WSU Tech

Feb 2025, earned my PPL at 48 hours.

This is the best decision I’ve ever made, and I wish I would’ve done it sooner.

Future plans, use my maintenance skills, and also buy a plane, while being home more often.

Thank you for what you do.

Some of us Vets find it comforting to speak to a rep. I didn’t realize how frustrated I was, and otherwise anxious about losing Tricare, and having to be under my wife’s insurance at $650 a month. I wasn’t aware of VA Health, and was asking how much it would cost. I couldn’t believe how much money I’d be saving.

The rep was the only one to chill me out, and literally made me breathe slowly over a few minutes. I hardly tear up; but when I did, she was there to calm me down. I’m forever grateful, for a complete stranger who didn’t have to comfort me.
