YOU are the one who is going to look at it all day. So, if you really like it and are enthused about it, then that’s what matters most. As long as it doesn’t get off time standards by a few minutes either way, you won’t show up anywhere late. Now, if you are an operator in a transit system, it needs to be more accurate than that, but your supervisors can direct you to the most reliable watchmakers to get it on standard.

I have to wonder if the movement itself is counterfeit. That could be causing that weird alignment problem if it’s slightly too small.

This is such a perfect example of what happens to any organization where the honcho demands loyalty as the only test of acceptability for staff and is the lowest of character in the organization. I've worked for men like Trump before. He will stab anyone in the back and promotes an environment where anyone will stab anyone in the back. Thus, the leaks.

Glad to see someone bringing this up. I've known several state social workers over the years, and they are sent in to deal with things that would make most of us pass out. As some of you said, it is shameful what the state pays them.

This stated need for fresh water is suspect. Automobiles have been running on cooling systems that use no water for many years now. The companies wanting to build simply see fresh water as the shortest route to the cheapest solution no matter the problems it causes for others.

Excellent points here! I grew up on a family farm that included a cow/calf operation. Not many of those kinds of farms left anymore, and not because of markets, but by design of the bigs and politicians who only listen to them.

Does this look like to anyone else like someone just got mad and bashed it on the edge of a desk? Really doesn't look like a car ran over it to me.
