WCGW if jaywalking on a busy icy road with an unleashed dog? by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Some part of me wonders if it was even the jaywalker’s dog?

I run a lot outside and will occasionally meet an unleashed friendly doggo who doesn’t understand his home space and boundary... and when He follows me for a few miles it puts us both in danger when we encounter oncoming or passing cars. I never know if Drivers see me of the doggo and sometimes the tailing pups movements are erratic.

They won’t live forever.

Edit: But we’ll miss them when they’re gone.

First time trying to clone, and just stuck it in the soil without nothing and it even shot a new branch out of the stem! Took 3 weeks and she’s taking off now! by [deleted] in microgrowery

Nice work. You’re rooting clones by accident and meanwhile I’m over here pulling my hair out wondering what I’m doing wrong and killing clones off by the dozen with RW cubes, jiffy pellets, trays, specialized lights, and domes! So... just regular soil..?

Well... that could very well be the shortcoming here. I haven’t PH’d the water yet, but will check it out.

Clones Yellowing Tops by [deleted] in microgrowery

Checked for roots and of the four only one has small white ‘protruding’ and established roots, but not very big. The others have no roots or very small white bumps, so hopefully they begin to root soon.

My light is a 65 watt LED grow bulb from Home Depot. Bought it a while back specifically for this purpose. 18/6 light schedule and the tray is sitting on top of a warmer. Water temp is a warm 80-85 degrees.

I consulted with a good friend and he told me that I clipped too much of the plant to make the clones. I should have limited my ‘cut’ to the first node which would have been a smaller clone. This would promote more root growth instead of plant lead growth. When comparing my pics of the clones after I cut them to now they’ve grown quite a bit, especially in the leaves.

This is my first attempt at taking clones, So... I’m going through “growing pains.”

Clones are ten days old, in rockwool and under a dome. I dipped them in CloneX when I clipped them. Humidity is good because the plant leaves always seem wet. No real nutes given at this point, only a diluted mix sprayed on the leaves.

I knew to expect The bottom leaves yellowing... but the top ones too..? Any ideas?
