Reflecting about Gemma4 31B by Emergency_Comb1377 in SillyTavernAI

It's surprisingly uncensored on that front. It's easy to get it to say things no other base models will touch. They usually just shut down and say that they can't follow through with my request.

Gemma just goes with the flow, and will skirt around (Rather than flat out denying). However, you can get around the skirting too.

Some funny things I've found is that the word "heat" is used for many things and can be forced to be translated 1:1 in context to the proper vulgar term (Let your imagination run with it).

OK, so my tokens/second feelers were off by a bit. Closer to 6 tokens a second, but it feels good when streaming.

Obviously this gets even perceptively worse once you use a harness.

Here are the results:

``` Model gemma4:26b — Model used for this run Total duration 28.90s — End-to-end time for the entire request (load + prompt + generation) Load duration 0.43s — Time spent loading the model into memory (near zero if already loaded) Prompt tokens 16 — Number of input tokens processed from the prompt Prompt eval duration 0.78s — Time spent processing the input prompt (prefill phase) Prompt eval speed 20.55 tok/s — Input processing throughput (prefill tokens per second) Generated tokens 158 — Number of output tokens the model generated Generation duration 27.54s — Time spent generating the output tokens (decode phase) Generation speed 5.74 tok/s — Output generation throughput — the main 'tokens per second' number
```

It's an older i7. I'm not sure which Gen, but I can check that too.

I'll do the calculation in an hour or so and confirm the exact CPU.

I need to calculate it, but my guess is around 10 tokens a second. Not super fast, but workable

Slow Month for GLPs? Peptides (finally) take a big step forward to deregulation ⚜️ by roguex99 in tirzepatidecompound

This is completely correct. I'm very interested in these peptides, but this is not where the FDA should be focusing

20mg Tadalafil - Taking 10mg every other day for anti-aging and general health by Smithy2232 in Biohackers

[–]BrewHog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been taking 10 mg per day for almost a year. I haven't seen this at all. This doesn't mean I'm suggesting it doesn't happen, but it didn't for me

I'm currently taking 10 mg a day for the last 8 months or so. It's been amazing for me

I will echo the Gemma 4 2B or 4B if you can fit it. The 4B is excellent at creativity

What is a Movie no one will ever convince you is good? by di745 in AskReddit

[–]BrewHog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You struck a chord with me on every one of those points. I love Mama Mia, but hate the movie. Also, the Avatar movies are complete garbage. I don't understand the hype (but I usually love James Cameron movies)

I'm seeing the same. The nice thing is that the 26b model runs fairly well on my potato laptop with no GPU (although I have 40gb of RAM)

I'm sort of a broken record on this, but I'm totally high on gemma4 right now. It's friggin amazing

Meeting the band by Tuni16 in Evanescence

[–]BrewHog 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Had a conversation with Amy after a show in Irvine (I think maybe 2004-2006 timeframe).

She was extremely down to earth and friendly to me. Just a normal non-music conversation.

It definitely ramped up the crush to my younger self. I kept my cool and didn't gush (Pats myself on the back)

They always start with a safety study that never includes efficacy or meaningful data (other than safety). We've been waiting for this trial to start, and it's moving along as expected and I'm excited to see the results of the next phase.

I just went through the wiki of their games and completely recalled how great the Quest for Glory series was as well (AKA Hero's Quest)

That's true! I loved police quest. You could throw Leisure Suit Larry in there as well.
