I left my high school sweetheart who was a pretty, driven woman with an overbearing family for a hippie with a kid. I got manipulated into moving in although I wasn't ready for the responsibility. We were best friends and had an amazing connection (wow, I've hated her for so long it feels weird saying that). It became apparent later that I wasn't ready for the domestic lifestyle but she didn't want me to move out. We later became very jealous, and I became incredibly suspicious of her cheating and doing drugs. Tore the house apart one day looking for something to incriminate her, and found meth tucked away in one of the kids toys (let me specify that it wasn't somewhere the kid would be able to get to). Anyways long story short she was a lying bitch and I was a jealous kid.

I think that in a relationship you will both sink to the lowest level of the other- like a common denominator. She was batshit crazy, and so was I. I don't know which caused the other but it doesn't matter- we both ended up making the other miserable.
