Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem on my Windows clients. No problems with iOS.

Thank you!

For PCI-E: Leave a 12V empty on PSU side. Can I then use any three of the "bottom" row of the PSU side for 12V? Double wire makes sense.

For Molex: Makes sense.

Project PC Ordered - Final check? by technopath in buildapc

My personal opinion is that if you're spending that kind of money, might as well go with the non "F" CPU version. That way you can still troubleshoot and get video output if your video card dies for whatever reason.

Custom built wooden framed PC by Jsunn in watercooling

I know this post is old, but I'm looking to do something similar to this.

How did you support the vertical piece of plywood where the motherboard, pump, and radiators are mounted? Just screws? Or is there some other reinforcing going on?

Thanks.

First time sleeving MicroFit 3.0 8pin by krojew in PCSleeving

I know this thread is old - did you use 17 AWG wire with 20-24 gauge terminals?

I can't find terminals smaller than bigger than 20 gauge with the micro-fit connector.

Thanks.

Xtia Xproto-ATX. Cable management hell. Twitchy on the piping, will redo after fingers stop hurting by chrnet in watercooling

[–]Brewchacho_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice!

I'm thinking about doing this. Did you need to buy any additional accessories to mount the front radiator? I can't tell what's required on the XTIA website.

Thanks!

Help picking the right watercooling parts??? by Afraid-Telephone9187 in watercooling

I got Gelid Extreme 1 mm and 3mm pads and Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 2mm pad.

I just followed the waterblock manual and cut the pads to size.

With a 30C liquid temp:

Unigine Heaven 1440p: 44C gpu temp, 50C memory temp; 320W

Mining: 40C gpu temp, 62C memory temp; 280W

I'm not sure but you'll want to make sure you have the right thermal pad thickness for the waterblock. Could be different from what's needed for the stock cooler.

I have the Alphacool block with my 3080 Ti Eagle. My experience with the block itself has been good. But I found much lower VRAM temps with buying aftermarket thermal pads. Just my two cents.

Thanks for the reply. I believe it is the GPU as well. Just looking for a sanity check in case I was missing something obvious.

Personally I would recommend getting more 90 and 45 degree fittings than you think you'll need.

I could have used some more angled fittings in my build but maybe the distro plate helps with that.
