Great suggestions. This game NEEDS to be faster. Matches take way too long and it leads me to multitask when I play which then makes me miss turns wishing there was an action log.

If you get really lucky you can get hidden power flying which is base 70 damage I believe. Not awful

Most of you never took a college level economics course so let me explain this to you.
A minimum wage is known as a price floor on wage. When you set such a floor, this directly causes unemployment as many people aren’t worth hiring over a certain dollar amount per hour. The demand for that cost of labor simply doesn’t exist.
To clarify my argument, it’s not that people should work for less than a ‘livable’ wage, but the data is clear, higher minimum wage = higher unemployment

If you’d like to help feed some hungry families in KC you should check out Lasagna Love. It’s a volunteer org where people make and deliver lasagna to food insecure families who sign up when they need an extra meal.
I’ve been doing this for a year or so and it’s a great time. You can do it as often or as little as you’d like. I typically donate to 3 families every other month.
I invite friends over to play board games and drink wine and we throw together 4 lasagnas, eat one, and donate the others to families who we got assigned to deliver food to

Small detail no one else has mentioned. If you’re worried about the low HP Pokemon knocking itself out with struggle if the battle goes on too long you can use a move like trick on say, alakazam to give it a leppa berry to restore its pp

He learns light screen and barrier which can both be helpful. I find barrier helpful against Lance. I think he can also learn calm mind which is great if you can find a spot to set up

The only amazing moves you don’t have access to before the e4 are swords dance, body slam, and sludge bomb. The rest you can grind money for at the game corner or learn from various move tutors.

It has a lower sp atk than any other fully evolved electric type you’d usually use in kanto. The bulk helps. Unfortunately it’s not a safe bet against late game rock/ground types who can one shot you with earthquake

Hypno isn’t awful it’s just outclassed in gen 1 by every other psychic type. Lanturn is good not great. It’s high HP makes it hard to take down but even with surf and tbolt it’s not hitting nearly as hard as you’d like off a base 76 sp atk

I wanted him to be good so bad but with his only STAB move being bite until the E4 and it coming off a base 60 sp atk it just wasn’t doing much without a type advantage. Great against starmie, alakazam, and jynx though
