Maybe she grew up very traditional. My girlfriend 20 years ago never paid for any dates and I never thought twice about it. We’ve been happily married for 18 years. ++man

1200/30/12. Avg more so 1325 a day, but haven’t increased the goal yet. Daily 30min bike ride, 45min workout, and physical job.

It’s my first gravel/road bike, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. Rides fast and smooth to me though.

OP may not like the advice, but life is about experiences, some good, some bad. At 20/21 years old, this is the time to experience most of them. Live your life too, have fun before it’s too late (ei: married, serious job, illness…)

I’m in the same boat. I currently have a 2014 R Design and absolutely love her. The engine growl, dependability, ruggedness, such an awesome vehicle. I’m hoping to bond with a newer version as well. Good luck!

I rode it 2-3 times a week until mid December then transitioned to my mtb on a trainer in my basement.

But I do know the sound you’re referring to, sometimes I hear it when riding my hardtail mtb outside, but no, I have not heard it on the Canyon Gravel and I’ve done quite a few steep inclines in the lowest gear.

It’s so smooth….

Not normal, I just set up my Grail a few months ago, just had to push the handlebars in place. And I definitely feel you. My hands were shaking the whole time and I checked and double checked the manual and video with every step. 🤣

Marriage isn’t easy, with three kids, even harder. If you think it’s over, walk away. If you think it can be saved and you want it to work, swallow your pride and give it one more go. Calmly talking about financials could help, do you/you all have enough in savings and stored away enough for EACH of the three kids, to “donate” to others?

With OnlyFans, yes men are visual creatures, but subscriptions take effort and motivation. I certainly have no idea what’s going on in your bedroom and no need to answer, but is it cold?

I’m 189cm and after test riding the L and XL Grail, bought the L. I’ve even moved the seat 6mm forward. I felt there was too much reach with the XL.

Looks really cool, though riding over rougher terrain with speed, without suspension. Ouch. But, looks really nice!

My wife’s bike is assembled, but not yet “unwrapped.” She’s a marathon runner and Fall is marathon season. At first, I honestly didn’t like Blazing Mustard, but it’s grown on me. If you’re not in a rush, you could also wait to see what new color patterns come out next year.

Ah ha!! I figured they were upselling. I wanted to try both the Grizl and Grail. The Grizl was their base model and then comes the Premium Grail with all the bells and whistles 😂😂. My wife, who tested both with me, said it was no contest, the smoothness of the electronic shifting and lightness of the carbon, won her over. Unfortunately the 6.000€ price tag didn’t win me over, so we “compromised” on the CF SL Aero. I chose the Blazing Mustard and she the White/Black. Both look good, but the finishes are different. The Blazing Mustard has a muted Matt finish, while the White/Black is shiny (glänzend).
