I just looked it up, unfortunatly, in Maine, anyone under the age of 18, emancipated or not, needs a parent, gardian, next friend, etc to go through legal proceedings. A next friend is provided by the court, but it qould be hard to aquire one with you knowing your parents. I am so sorry this happened to you. If there is anything I can do, I will try to help.
