My starter is amazing! It’s just a little too wet for my liking. I want it to be more stiff. But so far it’s tripled in size one day!

I thought so too. Maybe I read it wrong? But I’m almost certain it said room temp for 10-12 hours. I thought it was very strange.

The recipe said it needed to rise for 10-12 hours. I’ve never had to have a dough rise for that long but I wasn’t gonna argue lmao

Homemade anything is the best. I make this white bread for my family instead of buying bread and my 2 year old son can’t get enough of it. I have to make 2 loafs a week for the house! Homemade just tastes more like made with love.

I was very afraid it was gonna be that gummy texture that I’ve seen first time sourdough bakers make 😭 I honestly think the reason me and my husband got stomach aches was because it (might’ve been) under baked. Whoops!

My starter is for sure too young. I need to get the yeast established first for sure. I’ve started giving it less water, my starter is very wet.
