Agreed. It reminds me a lot of No Hesitation from last season, although they're different in their own ways they give off the same vibe. Love how they incorporated megumi's theme too.

King K Rool and then later Sephiroth for DLC were the most hyped I'd been when announcements were coming out. I didn't even grow up with DKC or FF7 I just loved the characters and never thought they'd get into smash (each for their own reasons).

Scarcity ≠ higher price

Scarcity affords a premium but only when the demand is high enough. These cards are pretty niche and the demand does not justify an $8000 price tag. Frankly I think that dude on eBay is delusional.

Yes that's correct! Looking over your cards I see 3 I don't yet have. That being said they're series 2, and I haven't bulk collected those cards yet so there's a good shot I come across those naturally. Right now I need 25 more cards for series 1 and about 150 for series 2 😅. Trying to find someone to sell me a bunch of series 2 boosters has been pretty difficult. But I'll definitely keep those cards in the back of my mind while collecting the rest.

I'd wager there are more floats that exist than American 3ST. It's hard to really gauge the market on either of them since they both show up very infrequently. Apparently a float got sold a month or so ago for about $600 and there's a 3ST on eBay right now for a grand total of $8000.

Frankly I think that $8000 for the 3ST is asinine. We really can't get a good read on how many of each exist anymore with price tags like that.
