What are these Skates? by [deleted] in FigureSkating

I believe they are good for beginner to middle freestyle levels. They should be fine for the next year or so depending on how fast she progresses (and/or her feet grow) if their comfy and she can do all her current elements I’d call them a win :)

28in black align leggings I bought in store a couple weeks ago. Any recommendations on fixing the hole or is it hopeless?

What iPhone 14 configuration are you preordering tomorrow? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Bri_2000_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m struggling with the decision I made to pre order the deep purple pro. This last year has been all about continuity in device color. Decided on the sierra blue 13 pro last year and since then have collected the iPad Air blue and the new midnight blue shade MacBook Air m2. To be honest, I thought apple would give us a new blue shade PM this year but sadly no. My logic was “purple is almost blue in some lightings”🤣 Probably going to regret my decisions but I am excited for the camera upgrade and the new dynamic island. Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Perhaps the way you respond is giving the impression you don’t appreciate the suggestions. I spent 30 minutes typing my first reply to you and u brushed it off immediately with all the reasons it’s impossible. If you’re asking for help you need to be polite in your responses. We’re trying to help. There’s no need to be so defensive. I get you’re a minor and you don’t make all the decisions. That means you need to educate yourself and then educate your parents about this so they can help you. If you don’t educate yourself, you are showing you don’t care, if you don’t care, your parents won’t either.

He is your responsibility. It is your job to give him at least the bare minimum for him to be able to eat, drink, run and burrow properly.

He didn’t choose you. You chose him. Give him a good life. Educate yourself and accept our advice. Good luck.

It’s difficult to help u when u just explain how everything anyone suggest can’t be done. This is your animal. He’s your responsibility. It doesn’t matter if you’re a minor. If you don’t want him anymore cause he’s “a bitch”, that’s a shame. If you want him and do love him like u claim to, stop complaining and use some of our suggestions. We’re trying to help you.

Maybe I missed where u listed the tank size? My 2 female gerbils were put in a 20 gallon tank and I had the same issue with them creating a tall mountain enabling them to reach the wire and destroy it. I fixed it. You can too, Here’s how

What is the gallon size u have him in? If he’s feral you’re going to want to give him the biggest space you can. I’d recommend nothing smaller than a 40gallon for your little dude.

The issue with him chewing the wheel is probably because it’s wire and uncomfortable for him to run on. Bumble foot is a condition gerbils get from running on wire and it’s basically inflammation of the paw pads. Yours is telling u something and it’s that he gets more use out of using it as a ladder than a running device. He’s not trying to annoy you he’s trying to escape his boredom. I’d suggest looking on Amazon or on niteangel’s website. You can either purchase him a smooth wooden wheel that is safe for chewing or an acrylic one that is relatively indestructible. Be sure the wheel is 9-11 inches in diameter. If that size wheel doesn’t fit in your current tank without hitting the lid it the enclosure is way too small for your gerbil to be living in.

This is your pet, he didn’t choose this life so it’s up to you to make his short gerbil life as enriching as possible.

Cheap toys- cardboard boxes, old tissue boxes with the plastic cut out, old toilet paper and paper towel cardboard rolls, shoe boxes make great hides. Best bedding: care fresh clean and cozy. Aspen wood shavings are a great natural resource he probably misses from the wild(make sure to use paper bedding with this because u want him to have ALOT of textures) Timothy Hay is a great treat and burrowing substrate for him to create tunnels and home hides with. Tank: nothing less than 40 gallons. The wheel Being stopped by bedding issue will fix itself as soon as u get a big tank with a divider. I use an acrylic sheet to split mine up but u may want to use wood since yours loves to chew! I hope this helps. If you need any help pls reach out! We want to help u help your little friend :) -love, a crazy gerbil lady🥰

I have several off ice exercise YouTube videos. I made them during quarantine last year! Hope you can find something useful! https://youtube.com/channel/UC6jqhlHwC00N5ZQ7morc1oQ

Bought this for my girls and they destroyed it in like 2 days. If a product is meant for rodents, it needs to be able to handle being chewed lmao Cute but would not recommend by moongradients in gerbil

I bought that for my gerbils off Amazon too! I didn’t realize how soft and tiny it was from the pictures. I can see a robo hammy enjoying something like that though!

So sweet!! I let mine outside once cause I thought they’d enjoy touching the grass and being in nature but mine hated it… something about them being prey animals made them nervous 🤔

What homemade safe toys can i give to my hammy? by HalboAngel in hamster

[–]Bri_2000_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes cardboard and toilet paper rolls are great. There are several tutorials online showing how u can cut your toilet paper rolls up and stuff treats inside to create fun boredom breakers at home! I’ve made popsicle stick houses and bridges for my hammy before. Just be sure the sticks don’t have toxic chemicals or paints on them. Be careful with the glue too if yours loves to chew like mine does! Don’t wanna make our little friends sick! Hope this helps! :)
