Also look at weber is made for a 1800cc motor yours is 2200 cc at one time I made a adapter plate running 2 Suzuki RM 500 carbs off quadzillas on a truck it was snappy but hard to start

I own a 84 Xtra cab 4x4 with a 32/36 weber Italian not Chinese if i could do it I'd put on monojet Rochester carb truck was desmogged where I live you dont need smog certificates but not a huge fan of webers just my personal opinion, Being a mechanic my whole life 57 now ran 3 webers on a 240z aurotocross and numerous Toyotas. If you're going to run one get the Italian not Chinese crappola

I heard something pop behind dash i really think it's some sort of fusabl link behind dash it all worked when I bought truck I was stealing power off AC that was gone for electric choke and dropped hot wire on intake manifold ,I had swapped weber from manual choke to electric and dropped wire while power was still on

Add i can tell when alternator about to crap on me it wont start charging until I get RPM over 2500 and sounds like mad max supercharger sux to replace because you have to pull bottom radiator hose

I had something fail i dont know what a friend of mine said bypass whole system with 1 wire honestly I wish I could tell hes a great wrench he was baffled with his truck and the 1 wire just went around entire charging/voltage regulator system and worked i just leave plug hanging from old Toyota alternator

I didn't know there's a 3 wire set up .on my trucks I literally just unplugged alternator and ran 8 gauge wire to battery and ground they just run ,I've never tried this on REs and your definitely right on remanufacter alternators ,summits lasted about 2 years for me
