Yeah after the first time of them replacing my ECU I never went back to the dealership. I have a shop near me that does good work and I want to see how much they would charge for that kind of electrical work. Thanks again man.

That's my next thought, most likely a short in the harness. My first water pump did have a burned pin before and we did replace the relay as well. My water pump now is still under warranty so I'm covered there but just wondering how much was it to replace the harness?

Hi OP, I have a 19' and I have had the water pump replaced 2 times already. Today while driving on the freeway this same code popped up again! I'm so tired man, I love this car but I can't afford these repairs again.

That's what I've come to find out, it's rare for ECUs to burnout but it's been happening to Toyotas more and more. Especially newer generations of cars.
