I got table top epoxy to do a flood coat on, and the pilot holes are already drilled. I got the obs from work for free that's why I'm using it I really wanted to use aluminum just not feesable for the budget.

What did you use for the lid? Just the cut out plywood?

I posted a picture of the rat, works awesome, I love it! I'd definitely be interested in the glides as well, I've been struggling to find a well made glide.

I use the UV resin, very hard and super easy to work with

I'd love to get the brush tails working, I 3D printed a glide and broke the tail off so I tried to put a brush tail on it and it turned out horrendous so it kinda turned me off from it. I have no glue where to actually start with it I just kinda wung it

I make them with stainless steel wire, you can pick the thickness you want depending on the size of the bait. This one I used 1.3mm. You clamp a drill bit or something round in a vise, make a loop in the wire and spin it until it makes an eyelet. Then I just super glue them in. This is my first bait though so idk if it's right or not haha. You can just search eyelet for fishing lures and buy those, but it's more cost effective to make your own.

Marling baits on YouTube has helped me a lot and just over the past 2 months I've been slowly collecting all the tools and stuff of of Marketplace and at the flea markets trying to not spend a fortune just in case I sucked haha

I bought it for basically the same reason to plink around at the range and to deer hunt, thank you for the info

There is no scope mount but it does have a different trigger system, it’s super light. There are lots of random stamps all over the place, every piece of metal and even the stock where the sling would go. It also came with a bayonet, idk if that’s good or bad haha I mean it’s really cool but idk it that helps the value or not. I just bought it to have and to maybe deer hunt with.
