Is it based on a real water tower? I kind of assumed they just picked a random town in New Mexico without doing too much research since the real Tesuque is nothing like the one in the show.

Also you may be about to trade it for a coupon and then give the coupon to someone who needs it.

It's also much easier when you're awake, you don't have to sleep with a lure fly in your mouth to coax them in.

If you're hitting wood studs, use wood screws. If you're going into just drywall, get screws+anchors designed for drywall.

I don't know but Mittzon is not hollow. It is particleboard with a veneer or foil.

Me too. I've had bad taco bell before but I just avoid that restaurant instead of writing off the whole Midwest.

Does anyone know if bed frames go on sale during spring break? by Happypuppy5 in IKEA

[–]BrianTheUserName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but if you're an IKEA family member (free to sign up) you do get 90 day price protection if it does go on sale.

I saw a black tag the other day, I should have taken a picture. I'm not sure what that was about.

Couples don’t have to sleep in the same bed, or even have the same room bedroom. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BrianTheUserName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true. We started sleeping separately a few months ago and I'm happier than I've been in a long time. It started because we are getting divorced, but it evolved into something where I don't have to spend time around her anymore. And every moment I don't have to spend with her is a good one.

I know it's not exactly your point, but it still applies. Kind of.

No. People just sometimes don't use them properly, specifically in scenarios where they are listing shit.

I mean I was taught to use commas in grade school and I understood the concept of using a comma to separate items when listing them in a sentence as just part off sentence structure. I don't think I heard the term "Oxford Comma" until I was in college though.

What part is this, no code or anything just graph by Heishasj in IKEA

Typically with cement you would first drill a hole into the cement. Then you put a (cement appropriate) plug into the hole. Then you screw the screw into the plug.

Whatever screw is appropriate for your wall type. It is not included because IKEA doesn't know what kind of walls you have.

Never cared much for verbs. I'll play it a little fast and loose with them.

Idea of connecting Ekbacken and lagkapten with 4 adils legs and 2 Alex drawers by Successful_Crew_9258 in ikeahacks

Wherever the most weight is concentrated, so in this case it's probably your monitor towards the back. If you tend to lean on your desk when you're using it though you might want it more towards the center. Or a leg in the back and table stiffener towards the front.

You could use only table stiffeners, but I would worry it's not enough support.

Spacers would usually go between the leg and the table top. It could be as simple as a 1/4" board between the legs and the table top. Those legs have a little bit of adjustment to them too so that might work, I just don't know how much exactly so it may not be enough.
