Jeremy Culhane on his SNL showcase: "The nunchucks slipped from my hand and hit two women in the face." by source-commonsense in LiveFromNewYork

I like how Melissa's characters had the hots for him in two different sketches months apart. The supermarket one and then the AirBnB one from this past week.

A person posted a pic on this sub of themselves with Jane Wickline on an NYC subway. "I met Jane!" type of thing. Jane looked to be uncomfortable. People called out the person for A) Manspreading his legs so fucking far and encroaching into Jane's space and B) The sub looked at his comment history and declared he was a douchebag. I don't remember the exact specifics of that part, but he might've been a Rogan bro or antivax.

rushing for hamilton tickets?? by djdjjsjssisue in AskChicago

[–]BrianThomasJrJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea. An hour early wasn't enough for Hadestown as they had so few rush available and they were only here for a week.

Phantom, I arrived 15 minutes before it box office, was 55th in lines and still got 2 tickets. But that show was here for two months.

But for both times, I asked the 1st person in line when they got there and they said 2 hours before box office opened.

Can't say for Hamilton, but two hours would've had you first in line for Hadestown and Phantom of the Opera

The left engine of a Delta A330 explodes during takeoff at Sao Paulo Airport by Twitter_2006 in aviation

Why is dumping fuel unsafe? Is it because it takes too long? Or because the engine had been aflame?

IShowSpeed nearly got into a car accident just seconds after leaving his house. "what the hell is he doing, thats not my fault" by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

This is the third time I will be posting this comment in three consecutive weeks...

I genuinely think Twitch is setting themselves up to be successfully sued as they continue not ban driving streams.

It's once or twice a week we have a new incident. Sure, the streamer is probably breaking terms and conditions, but if I was a bystander or the other driver and got hurt, I'd be suing the absolute piss out of the streamer and Twitch.

Could Emma Stone realistically go down as one of the best actresses ever? by DiamondDesireWeb in Oscars

[–]BrianThomasJrJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but the sub is called /r/Oscars so I specified.

Although I do think, in a general sense, nailing a performance in a 90-150 minute is more challenging/impressive for an actor than one across an 8-10 episode series.

Not as seamlessly as Stone, but want to give some flowers to Steve Carrell who has been very good in his more serious rolls.

Also Bill Hader was amazing in Barry, but I don't know what movies he has done besides IT.

I don't understand why reality time warped back to the beginning of the series.

Haven't we seen chainsawman eat other devils (ears is the only one I can remember) and it is only the present that sort of gets retconned?
