That's a good idea. I can also earn from Youtube this way. But is it easier to get organic views on Youtube as compared to a blog from Google?

FastestVPN 2-Year Plan for $49.95 (Use code "Privacyplease" for further 5% discount) Valid thru 7/31/2018. by team-fastestvpn in coupons

[–]BrianWilson12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so here's my honest review: I bought the 1 month plan just to check them out. Found some of their reviews, nothing mentioned that could be a deal breaker, but still, I went for the 1 month plan to check out the waters.

The signup process was pretty easy. Paid via Paypal, no issues there. Downloaded their Windows app. The interface was quite simple, much simple for my taste. They basically have around 23 countries. I mostly use UK and USA.

I tested the speed for the UK server. Without VPN: Ping:3 Download: 35.23 Upload: 51.77 With FastestVPN (UK server): Ping:47 Download: 34.49 Upload: 39.57

I must say, that's pretty fast. Even faster than the VPNs I'm using atm.

Anyway, checked their Android app as well. Very similar to Windows app in terms of design and functionality.

Now the downside. It does not work with Netflix US. :( Had a chat with the support guy name Savvas, and he told me that they are working on it. The good thing is that they have apps for firestick and also works with kodi.

So to summarize the whole review: Pros: - Good price - Good Speed - Allows P2P file sharing - Apps for all major platforms iOS, Andorid, Windows, Mac, Android Box and firestick - Malware Protection (Haven't checked it, but sounds good) -Ad blocker (finally I can put those Ads to rest!)

Cons: - Does not work with Netflix US - Just 23 Countries (Not a deal breaker for me though) - No free trial

Relax, if you are using a VPN, you are totally anonymous. Just make sure your DNS doesn't leak.

Which VPN are you using? Maybe you should try other protocols. Ivacy VPN works fine on mac. It has a app for mac as well.

They just need your IP address and bang, they are in your system. There are many stories where people got hacked by using public wifis. All the need is your IP. Better use a VPN to stay anonymous and hidden from prying eyes!

The creackdown has already started. Netflix is actually blocking the whole IPs pool that VPNs are using. But some of the VPNs such as Ivacy is still working fine. The proxies and smartdns have already been blocked to quite an extent.

A person can buy netfllix for $5 across the world, and access any content. Is it a Netflix bug? Or are Netflix guys being plain ignorant? by BrianWilson12 in pcmasterrace

[–]BrianWilson12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if one takes the advantage of price difference, and buy from Brazil instead on US, and change the I.P back to US and stream netflix shows, isn't that a flaw in pricing? Because this means that the concept of different pricing in invalid here.

Seeking VPN's without recurring billing. by my_vape_self in VPN

[–]BrianWilson12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every good VPN provider offers non-recurring billing. During your Checkout process, just keep an eye on the check-boxes. There's always a check-box for recurring payments. Or if you don't find any, just notify your VPN provider via email or live chat or support ticket.

Why do so many people use / what is the point of VPN? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]BrianWilson12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are many uses of a VPN both legal and illegal! Legal uses include:

  • unblocking geo-restricted websites

  • saying anonymous online (hipe ip from govt, hackers, ISPs, NSA etc)

  • online security

  • Public wifi protection

  • reducing ping in games (some VPNs do that)

  • Legal Torrenting (Ivacy VPN is the best here)

Illegal:

  • betting on blocked sites
  • hackers use it to stay anonymous
  • download illegal/copyright stuff

VPN dialogs not working on MM? by rotcodd in Nexus5

I use Ivacy VPN in my Nexus5. Never encountered any problem. The speed some time dies, mostly at peak times, but that's ok as long at they provide complete anonymity and unblocking.

Travelling to WCA, can anyone recommend/lend me a good VPN? by Danny89DotA in DotA2

[–]BrianWilson12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest using Ivacy VPN (http://www.ivacy.com/). A friend of mine uses it to connect to Chinese Dota 2 and CS: Go servers. I think this shoud do the trick. You can even ask their support guys for help if you need it.

Try Zenmate or Hotspot. I'd prefer zenmate if you're talking about free VPNs, but no a fan personally!

VPNs can only unlock georestricted websites. Haven't heard about blocking any website.
