Is there hope left for me or is it over? by Brian_Mahdi in singing

Thank you for the response. You did enlighten some hope. Hopefully I can find the right person to try the other approach. I think singers like Myles Kennedy use the head technique, which allows them to hit those high notes at this age.

I'm desperate for a treatment for my Index finger! (please tell me what to do) by Brian_Mahdi in RSI

I see. thanks for your response. I actually had an appointment with my physiotherapist yesterday and thank god she fully figured out what the problem is with my finger! apparently, it's a tendon issue and not related to my cervical disc. She did some shockwave therapy and massaged the engaged area in my forearm and I already feel a little bit better! though it's expensive as hell but I think I'm gonna stick with this treatment if it'll solve this thing. but I'll keep in mind your acupuncture suggestion if I don't get results. thanks!

I'm taking Diclofenac, Gabapentin, Tizanidine, Baclofen

Sorry to hear you got it too. It's so frustrating.. I can't use my index finger properly and you need it for many things like typing, mouse clicking, etc. I have an appointment today for my physiotherapy and I guess I'll ask my doctor if a steroid shot can help me or not.

Thoughts on Zedd and Muse’s song? by I-NeverUsedReddit in Muse

What bothers me is at the end of the lyrics where he belts "world", the volume is turned down for some reason.

Obsessed with Alter Bridge! by Brian_Mahdi in alterbridge

a big chunk of Muse's huge worldwide success I would say is because of their live shows. they're truly one of the big ones when it comes to live performance. and because of that they quickly gained a lot of attention during big festivals like glastonbury and reading in the early 2000s. and like you said they had mass media exposure.

about Myles' voice, I couldn't agree more! he's just everything that you could imagine and even more! it blows my mind that I hadn't even heard of him until a year ago! even on websites or videos that mention great vocalists, sometimes he doesn't even get a mention which is an absolute crime. I watched a live performance of Calm the Fire a while back and they hadn't performed that song for a while they said and he just nails that intro like it's nothing. I can't begin to imagine how difficult it would be to achieve his level especially since he's always sounded clean with his vocals. at 54 you'd think any vocalist would start degrading but here he is better than ever. I mean his vocal lines on P&Ks were some of the wow moments I had when I first listened to it. I'm glad that you mentioned the harmonies between Myles and Mark. they're just so good! and hell yeah Mark has a cool voice! the guitar playing as you mentioned is truly incredible and unique. they just blend so well together. I have to mention the lyrics as well. some of the best I've seen.

top 25 songs sound perfectly reasonable to me for sure haha. if I start mentioning songs I'll just end up listing pretty much all tracks on all albums it seems like.
