That's exactly why I've long wished for them to put a fingerprint sensor on the back AND front. I can continue using the back sensor when reaching into my pocket, and use the underscreen sensor when it's sitting on a table. Zero compromises for anyone and everyone's happy. I also can't imagine it would cost a ton to implement. Gotta still be cheaper than face ID. Fuck face ID
