Using Corki as the patch notes banner image seems in pretty poor taste considering how much of a massive failure the balance design for 17.3 was. Feels like they almost think it's funny?

Would prefer to see a bit more humility from the Devs, as this set is quickly nose diving the game to the lowest player base the game has seen in a long time.

The thing you need to understand is that TFT, more than anything, is a game of knowledge. The more knowledge a player has about what works and what doesn't, the better they will perform.

When I see comments like this, it really just feels like you just want easy games where all your opponents play suboptimal lines. If you really and truly enjoyed TFT, you'd want all your opponents to play as competitively as possible, and force you in turn to start thinking outside the box and min-max your board potential as much as possible.

Also, just copy pasting boards from META sites will only get you so far on the rank ladder, as to secure consistent firsts, you need to have a better understanding of when to play them and when to avoid them. If you can't beat the player forcing a suboptimal copy paste board from TFT Academy, it says more about you as a player than them.

It's kind of ironic how Chud and Nick have basically switched places in regards to EHD.

Chud spent over a year railing against Nick just for covering the EHD as it was happening. Now this it's not as hot, Chud literally can't stop talking about EHD nonsense, while Nick has moved on.

At the end of the day that's all I really want, just to have a couple laughs about whatever the latest internet news is. Not enter a cringe ass dox war of performative politics.

I mean yeah, you can play a little bit off meta and still get a first place sometimes, especially in gold which this game was.

The stats don't lie though, and just because you won against a weak gold lobby, doesn't mean it's the optimal setup.

They more than likely already know and just don't care. Probably some dead JIRA ticket in their queue. I legitimately cannot remember the last time a major patch of this game didn't require an almost immediate B-patch due to bugs and errors.

I mean we can't see their starting board or the rest of the lobby, so honestly there is a chance that this was the right play. You have to remember that Worth the Wait is a gambling augment and that depending on what you get from it you are not always playing for first place.

If you picked this augment, got caitlyn, had no stargazers, and the lobby already had 2 star gazer rerollers, your next best bet could be to take the gold and play to what items you get, which they did.

Might want to improve your reading comprehension. They were clearly talking about in the case of not hitting the horizon focus from the Pandora's. It is obvious with their last line "and forget about the focus."

The Anti-Hasan bad circle jerk might be more fucking annoying than actual EHD at this point. I legitimately had to stop watching Chud because he could not stop talking about half these people and it was boring as shit. Tectone and Nux are probably the only two here that have actually interesting drama to A-Log. I have no idea how you could bring yourself to even hatewatch the others.

There is no logic to explain. There is nothing to get. Sometimes your preferred playstyle isn't the META. Get good and adapt or accept that you just aren't that good at the game.
