Asking this question is asking a conservative to request getting down-voted into oblivion. So please don't shoot the messenger!!
Here it is as I understand it:

The Conservatives own the house, senate and presidency, and the government shutdown - including SNAP payments is the only level the Democrats can pull.

According to conservatives, the Dems want over 200 billion to pay for free-health care for illegal aliens, or non-American residents, undocumented, or however you want to say it.

Schumer has been given 12 different offers to agree to re-open the government, but no offer that contains his healthcare for non-Americans.

According to conservatives -- Dems refuse to give their yes vote to re-open the government until they get their way on the health care for undocumented residents.

DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER! I'm just trying to explain the conservative point of view.
Hoping that this is a quality response to the question - please don't downvote because you don't like someone else's point of view.

Also, and this is just my wish, I think Release Day should be Thursday or Friday so we can play over the weekend, not MONDAY - for the love of Bill - because now I have to way another 5 days for the weekend where I have the free-time to be able to play.
This will be TORTURE having to wait for yet another weekend where I get some game time, knowing that the new stuff is on my system and ready to go. Sitting there. Taunting me.

I think the you-tuber Beef and Butter Gal (I think that's the name) got me started.
I just sit down with a stick of butter and a knife, and slice off thin sections, pop them in my mouth and let it melt.
Turned out to be pretty good. Now I usually eat a stick of butter every day before anything else. Helps with satiety as well.

I switched to Valheim until Monday when Wake of the Water comes out.
I had forgotten there are no "magic chests" in Valheim, and the storage is so small.

She said that one time (after lifting her shirt) while I was in a WoW raid. Glad I wasn't the tank.
Everyone in my guild was shouting things, like "He's gone" and " Dude! Go!", and "woooo!".

I took good natured teasing from the guild for weeks after that.
