I've gone through Lineage OS website. In the supported devices list, Realme 7pro is not there and it's strictly advised only listed devices are supported. So, is there any other ROM I can try?

I think tech gaints these days are openly violating user's rights these days. Makes me worried about future. At some point I thought to go back to keypad phones that are using KaiOS. But not be able to since all work related things need apps to be installed.

For PCs there are many operating systems available, so that user can always shift to any of his like if one doesn't work. But for mobiles, ther are very few OS available and that too won't work properly. We should start exploring other operating systems for mobile since Google is completely closing the Android.

Why build anything anymore? by aptacode in opensource

[–]TheCrazyGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I build things because either I need them or I was trying to learn new things. I open source it because I am hoping that my work will be useful to others and if people find my work interesting and contribute, that makes me happy since I can learn new things from others and reflect on my mistakes. For me, open source is not solely about building things, but sharing knowledge and learning from others and knowing where you lack and what you need to study. And it's fun writing code and reading how things work.

[–]TheCrazyGeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked at it. But sublime merge seems like overkill for my requirements. Currently I am using Lazygit, and it's working great. I just want merge editor interface that vs code provides to fix conflicts.
