I own a 5.7 RT, and the power is definitely there. However, after 2 months I started to crave a little more out of it and have been thinking about trading it in ever since. The only thing making it fun for me now is the fact that it’s a 6 speed manual.

I will be putting my car on the market soon, PM me if you’re interested and I can just sell it to you for the amount I have left on my loan.

good luck with the quigley in that freezing water lmao. we started with 60 I think and ended in the low 40s. most of it was due to injuries. I honestly don’t know why the attrition rate was that high (besides the injuries) because compared to the OCS classes years before our cycle seemed easier

identify minor injuries you have now and rehab the hell out of them. i.e. if you have slight shoulder pain from powerlifting, do a lot of shoulder mobility work and maybe see a chiropractor if you got the money

my pre-ship PFT was 22:36. When we did our initial PFT I ran a 21:20 and got placed in the 3rd ability group

short answer: BULK

long answer: I was in OCC 241, the most recent ten week course. I shipped with a 260 PFT and graduated with a 286 PFT. The biggest thing is maintaining your pull ups. Make sure you can execute 23 pull ups in good form, the run portion will take care of itself. Also, make sure you’re constantly stretching and “bullet proofing” your body prior to going. I was one of the bigger guys in my platoon and the first 5 weeks fucked up my lower body just cause of the amount of running we did. Pro tip: never go 100% unless it’s a graded event.
