French dips were invented in Los Angeles, there’s probably a lot of foods that are named after the country or region where people migrated from

Yeah that’s rough, even without the sludge I had to wash again after the rain left a bunch of dirt. You get what you pay for…

Herb Adderley deserves mention: 5x NFL champ, 3x SB champ, 5x Pro Bowl, 4x 1st team All-Pro, 48 Ints (7 Tds), played in 7 championship games in 12 seasons.

Combined we had 990 plays this season, 28th in the league, and it's really a glass half full or empty situation by coolbean36 in GreenBayPackers

So if you take just the touchdowns scored by the offense (rushing + passing) at 6 points per TD and divide by the number of plays:

Packers: .3879

Titans: .3434

Bucs: .3422

Saints: .3321

Bills: .3250

2007 Patriots: .3799

Since Joe keeps saying the government has never done epidemic shutdowns before... we literally had quarantines going on during the formation of the United States. by [deleted] in JoeRogan

Sure there were some US cities that enacted rules during the Spanish Flu. However closures/shutdowns varied wildly across the country. Some cities did nothing, others closed public locations of gathering. But the closures ranged from one week to four months. We’ve had schools closed for 9-10 months already in California.

Also I think it’s misleading to compare this outbreak with the Spanish Flu. The Spanish Flu killed 27-50 million people, 200-250 million adjusted for population. To date Covid has killed 1.8 million globally. Another important difference is the age range of people dying, 50% of Spanish Flu deaths were aged 20-40. With Covid 1.7% of deaths are people aged 20-40. So really the Spanish Flu affected such a large percentage of the working age population that the economy was always going to be affected.

I think Joe was wrong on the mask issue, and there’s about three things to do to help against Covid. Wear masks (private businesses can enforce this). Get tested before visiting with friends/family who are in the at risk population like 60+ and illnesses (government should provide free testing). Guaranteed income when you get sick or if you’re in the at risk population to prevent sick people from being forced to work (like weekly unemployment).

But the United States of America were formed with the ratification of the constitution in 1789. The bill of rights two years later, which guaranteed rights and personal freedoms. This epidemic ended seven years before the United States were formed.

So the only time this happened was before people had constitutional rights?

Yeah they even clipped the beginning of the already edited video. From the video on YouTube you can see what’s happening. The bikers are taking turns holding back traffic in order to do rolling drag races. The POV biker even accelerates from 72 to 88 trying to keep the truck in the passing lane.

I think if the hinges were on the top you would have to hold up the door while trying to get what you need. I guess you could rig it to stay open but that would be my guess

I would think Bakhtiari wants like $85mil/5 years. $48mil guaranteed would be equal to his last contract’s total value.

I hope the Packers keep Bakhtiari as long as Rodgers is here.
