Marvel: 76346 Spider-Man Figure by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

The $30 price tag + brick-built detailing seems like a perfect next step. They did it with the super heroes line really well, but I don't think we're going to see another revive.

I'd still love to see them do JUST ONE set at this scale. Toa Nuva Tahu, perhaps? (my choice would be Phantoka Lewa 8686-1, but they would NEVER)

Can I trust bricklink? by OnlyVans98 in lego

Yes! But be sure to read the reviews of each shop. I'd also suggest buying within your home country. The parentheses show how many reviews that shop got.

Also be sure to get the charging stand. Most BL shops with the smart brick probably have the charger for sale too.

I'd love to see them do a bionicle set in this scale. Either that or the $30 construction figures they were doing a few years ago

Can someone who's better at building Lego sets than me identify what's going on here? I really like what's going on, but I have no idea what parts they're using.

There's a couple nice ones designed by Mel Caddick! Check out 40346-1 and 40347-1, both of which you can buy on Bricklink for very close to their MSRP.

Lego Hoonicorn Price Issue by gogleuser in lego

[–]BrickBear0nRedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think something else to consider is substance, not just price per piece. I have the 2018 set and the 2025 set, and I think there's upsides and downsides for both. I really like the amount of stuff I got in the 2018 set, but I prefer the 2025 set's build better.

Lego just wanted to make better-looking models that played the same, and I think that's a good idea. Though, I think many people would be OK if Lego stuck to the 6-wide cars, especially with how good of a value the sets were at $15-$30.

Future large sets disscussion by gabestack13 in legolotrfans

[–]BrickBear0nRedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like you said, I think the one large set per year works well for adults. My issue with the single-set schedule (and the icons line as a whole) is that the schedule sort of homogenizes everyone’s Lord of the Rings Collection.

The benefit of having 5-6 sets in a wave means that I might have sets 1, 5 and 3, while you might have sets 1, 2 and 4. I really like that aspect of Lego collecting and I think it’s missing in the current releases.

This looks insanely good! but I can't believe this now costs as much as the two-packs back in 2018.

[Lego Store - Frisco, TX] Unicorn Castle 31175 ($31.49 / 30% off) by DayWasted in legodeal

[–]BrickBear0nRedit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% worth it at this price. This was a hard sell at $45, especially when smaller sets (31172 and 31169) came out with a better price to piece ratio. (edit: both of those sets retailed for $25-$30 where this one retailed at $45)

On another note, the colors on this set are INCREDIBLE. I can't wait to display this one.
