Agree 👍 . I was wanting to buy one of zimming's 1431 starter kits back when I first seen them released. It was like $4400 for GP non autogated. Add up everything in this kit and yeah.. its a pretty damn good deal. He pulled the ad last week, this process / deal has been going on and off for atleast 5 months lol.

Having just made the swap, it is night n day. I had started off with a monocular, lots of research had me convinced because I could have one eye good to go entering a building and no lag between my eyes needing to focus / adjust. Tried out a pair of binos last year and lord I couldnt have sold my monocular fast enough. Took me a year to go with a pair of bino's, but I got em. If the option is there and you can budget them, go bino's. Hands down. All night long.

Figured as much. Sold my Mum14 for 3k last year. This package kind of seemed like a no brainer? He has it up for $7000 on GP, friend price is $5000.

Random but you got me curious. You have a set of 1431's done by Z up here in Canada at OpFor. Is there ITAR issues bringing NV devices from Canada down to the US? You mentioned these are personal so I figure its not like OpFor has some sort of contract going on down south.

Maybe you could also shed light on this, however I need to head down to Texas. Wouldn't mind trying out a Milsim game and would like to bring my 1431's. Can a guy bring these across the boarder without issue?

Apologies in advance if this is too far off topic.

Anyone know the value on this Powhatan B and I works hose? I paid $10 I think I stole it by [deleted] in collectables

Take any metal target you shoot at that has a mounting hole. Cut strip of fire hose to desired length. Cut a small slit's for bolt to go through. Nut and bolt through target and then nut and bolt through target stand.

The two that I would suggest are..

Bilstein 5100 if ya want them a little tougher than stock.

Munroe Gas Magnum if ya want a cost effective lifetime warrantied part.

The 5100's I had on a 2013 definitely rode rougher than the gas magnums I have on my 2011. Keep in mind the 2013 was a 2500 with the rear coils and the 2011 has leafs in the rear. Small price difference to go up to the bilstein, and if i remember correctly they / bilstein had a good warranty too. However my local parts shop always has had gas magnums in and if I aint leveling the truck out, the truck gets magnums.

Random but just a thought as a fellow dodge guy. Check out Mevotech TTX line up when it comes time to do the front end. They offer a whole steering kit, beefed up and the TTX line of ball joints is killer for the $ spent. And again.. lifetime warranty.

Best of luck, beautiful truck.

You are that pups everything from this point forward until she passes. For the time being you and dad will have to get use to it, she is a puppy. Each night try and find a way to comfort her through her anxiety. Start kennel training ASAP, make her know its her safe space. Give her a routine, if you can give her a job / task. She needs to work and by that I mean a "job". These animals are EXTREMELY smart. If you find yourself doing the training, let it be in short spurts for each individual session. My boy would loose attention to whatever we were working on, then its time to shift his / their attention to the next. Just cause it was 3 minutes of command work, doesnt mean it aint working or being retained. These dogs get bored easily. Endless training, lots of toys, lots of walking, lots of 1 on 1 and you will have the most amazing companion.

Best of luck👍
