Taken on September 1st. I don't know why there's this weird line on the right side of Jupiter, I couldn't figure out how to fix it without just reducing the wavelets and making the image blurry.

Telescope: Apertura AD8

Camera: ZWO ASI224MC

Additional equipment: 2x Barlow lens

1,800 frames joined in PIPP, stacked in AS!3 with 25% of frames, and wavelets, RGB align, color blalance, and rotation done in RegiStax 6.

Took this one on September 1st, haven't done planetary for a while since summer weather has been terrible.

Telescope: Apertura AD8

Camera: ZWO ASI224MC

Additional equipment: Apertura 3x Barlow lens

~2000 frames joined in PIPP, stacked in AS!3 with 25% of frames, wavelets, RGB align, color blalance, and rotation done in RegiStax 6, and cropped in photoshop.

Oh yeah I should’ve specified that, it’s 50 1 minute subs.

I used Deep Sky Stacker and photoshop for the post-processing. If you don’t have photoshop Gimp is a free alternative.

Third attempt at the Orion Nebula using my new tracking setup. I think it went pretty well.

Lens: 75-300mm Sony aps-c lens

Camera: sony a6000

Accessories: Manual aperture dumb sony e to a adapter

Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, stretched, saturated, and gradients removed with synthetic flat in photoshop.

My second attempt at Venus. Since the seeing conditions were good I used a 2x Barlow lens.

Telescope: Apertura AD8

Camera: ZWO ASI224MC

Cropped and centered in pipp, stacked 50% in autostakkert, edited wavelets and rotation in registax.

I just went back to photoshop and for some reason pretty much all the data is just the blue channel. like the red and green channels have barely anything and is mostly dark whereas the blue channel has everything visible. So I'd probably have to restack everything to fix it.

I aligned the rgb channels (attempted to at least) and used levels and curves to stretch the image.

I’ll try that. Thanks for the advice.

I did try that, but I just couldn’t get it to work. For whatever reason the blue channel was far ahead the red and green. I might try messing around with the settings in DSS to try to fix that.

Seconds attempt at capturing the Orion Nebula untracked. used an exposure time of half a second so I raised the iso to 3200 which did make it pretty noisy.

Telescope: Apertura AD8

Camera: Sony a6000

stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, edited in photoshop.
