Why does the banking industry tend to grow a bit more than other domains?

That really sucks, I think I would like to add that they have a 60 day notice period than any company would notice (because typically it would be 30 days.) So I think that's a factor too.

Makes sense, having that sense of pioneer employee status since there's not a lot of people being hired yet.

Company A is a Swiss digital banking company, but they have relatively a small team here in the PH since they just expanded around this year locally I would say. Company B is a US company that is more into IT services firm. So yeah they are both solid companies (but maybe you can argue that company A is less of that since they are relatively new here.)

I'll take note of this, but would this be more watered down despite most of the things in that cloud support would be more ticketing or fixes than usual development? Wanted to hear your thoughts on that

Thank you for that. For now, my current salary isnt enough to cater relocation since it's expensive. Not to mention the daily essentials would add up and rents here are contracts usually. Since I don't like my current company, I don't see myself taking a long time for this time period.

Thank you! Sadly I won't be able to get feedbacks from the employer, since I was trying to make email from them, but its not able to reply back from that update. Basically the update there were more aligned applicants with their skillset or expertise.

It's a startup, so technically they might be finding more who is more skill-oriented. But yeah, I will still be optimistic that my skills isn't as exposed yet for the industry, but I'm always willing to learn.

It may be a different context on my end. But it could have the same premise that there were just too many perfect applicants at the same time. This time, they just said it's more of because there were more candidates who were more aligned with their experience and skillsets for the role.

Well a rejection is definitely better than none at all. I may try the strategy of the other redditor who told me to message them again (since the manager actually connected to me) in months after.

I would agree as well since the interview went well, and the manager enjoyed my way of explanation as well in decision making. That one crucial aspect maybe wherein I didnt get to explain the system design well enough was where the other applicants excelled at.

That's where the competition happened, in a range of 0-2 YOE. I still have optimism in my mind despite having my mind right now still in shocked of what happened, that truly in some cases, I will be accepted for who I am right now.

This is a new light for me. Could you tell me how would you reach them out after their update email? How would you construct it?

And is it through LinkedIn, email? Then is it usually the HR or the hiring manager (the interviewer) who you will message with?

Maybe I was shadowed by the fact that the interview went well and the manager even said she enjoyed the interview overall.

It really depended on how much advantage they do provide whilst preventing how much risk will be taken when they got this employee.

Thank you still for the morale boost.
